Tennisgirl17 Carlig2: Unfortunately i may not be able to help very much with this because i'm in the exact same situation and don't know what to do:( The best thing to do would probably just text him a lot and drop some hints about wanting a valentine and then on valentine’s day make him a cute card and attach like a piece of chocolate. Don’t write anything too serious in it just be playful like say Happy Valentine’s Day and then say Lots of Love, _______ <- ur name. Spend time with her and try to see if maybe shes just trying to fit in with other people or if she really wants to be like this. If she can’t respect that and you feel too uncomfortable with hanging out with her then that friendship might not work out But try to show her that you care about her and don’t want to see her get into trouble and if she wants to keep ur friendship strong then she will respect that and try to change some of her bad habits. Tennisgirl17 remmy45321: Try wearing statement necklaces, bangles, and dangly earrings for accessories(not all at the same time though(: ) Another way you can probably dress up i think is your hair. If you can't change up your outfit than change up your hair. Try out cute braids, straighten it, curl it, add twists. Also if ur allowed play with makeup and try out new looks without going overboard of course. As for the clothes you have on the weekend, try finding time to hang out with people (going to the movies, bowling, etc.) where you can have fun and show off ur cute clothes(:

Carlig2 Maybe go to one of the people incharge of your school and ask why you have uniforms and tell them why you shouldn't.Most school have uniforms to show equalization but you can tell them that without uniforms you can show your true self.

Tennisgirl17 ms.muffinmonster: As for the length of hair, try to keep it at a medium/long length and get it trimmed to prevent split ends. make sure you comb ur hair with a wide tooth comb that helps tame your hair. as for products, use a deep conditioning shampoo/conditioner and then try using mousse and/or an anit-frizz serum. If you need cute hairstyles, try messy buns, braids, and then if you know what products to use wear it down because curly hair can be super pretty down

Carlig2 Ask friends to clothes swap. If they have something u like and they like something of yours swap it and it doesn't have to be perminit. You could also shop at Good will. Just the other day I got 5 belts, and an adorable top for just 10 dollars!

Tennisgirl17 Amandie99: Fashion is a very individual thing but what most girls are wearing that I notice as of now is lots of boots, v-neck tops and sweaters, scarves, dangly earrings, skinny jeans, sperry’s, sweater dresses, flats, uggs. Lots of popular stores/brands are Hollister, Abercrombie, American eagle… if you wan to get clothes from those places but its too expensive9which I totally understand) try purchasing things from the clearance section online. If you really can’t think of anyone, find some girls to support you on Gl.com! Next, find a hobby(or a few) that you love and are good at like reading, sewing, writing, drawing, film making,, photography, jewelry making, etc.. They will keep you busy and show you the awesome things you can do. Plus, participating in clubs or sports in school will help you meet people with the same interests and you can get to know the people and make friends. Also, when your thoughts get bad, try taking a walk or going for a run or dancing to music to distract you and clear your mind. Try searching “suicide” or “depression” on GL.com I looked for you and there are a bunch of articles that you should read because girls who are going through the same thing have asked GL for help and gotten great answers! As for making friends, like I said make friends on GL.com, through clubs or sports, if you go to church you can make friends in youth group or just in church, you could take a class for youth at a local gym and meet people there, and when you do meet people, just be friendly and approachable! Tennisgirl17 Hey! I’m sooo sorry to hear that First, know that there are lots of people who love you and will support you! If you really can’t think of anyone, find some girls to support you on Gl.com! Next, find a hobby(or a few) that you love and are good at like reading, sewing, writing, drawing, film making,, photography, jewelry making, etc.. They will keep you busy and show you the awesome things you can do. Plus, participating in clubs or sports in school will help you meet people with the same interests and you can get to know the people and make friends. Also, when your thoughts get bad, try taking a walk or going for a run or dancing to music to distract you and clear your mind. Try searching “suicide” or “depression” on GL.com I looked for you and there are a bunch of articles that you should read because girls who are going through the same thing have asked GL for help and gotten great answers! As for making friends, like I said make friends on GL.com, through clubs or sports, if you go to church you can make friends in youth group or just in church, you could take a class for youth at a local gym and meet people there, and when you do meet people, just be friendly and approachable! As much as she may annoy you(believe i've had those moments with my mom i get it) I'm sure that she would love to spend time with you. If it gets worse then I would tell an adult that you are close to and would feel comfortable sharing this with to see what they think you should do. Make friends with some other people who feel the same way about her and you can all support each other. The next time she is mean to you I would suggest that you tell her that what she said/did hurt you and you would appreciate it if she would not be mean like that again. If she continues then tell her that you really want to be friends but that she hurts you when she sais/does those things.
