briana13 Anybody up for some tropics???? Aye, bust out a nice can of coconut milk, and use the juice from a whole lime to creat a sweet deep condition to combat frizz. let it sit 20 mins then rinse! save the rest of it for othefrizzy dry days.

awtechnofish Hey everyone! I havent been on in awhile, but anywho, for my birthday I got a new hairdryer, and this one has a diffuser. I would def recommend getting one because it doesnt separate your curls when you dry your hair and it tends to reduce frizz

briana13 out with an old t-shirt, then apply a lil styling oil or product, then twist peices of hair together (they should be medium-small twists) wrap the hair up for night, sleep then take out twists in the morning for an ULTRA frizz free look.

peetakatniss1 wearing my hair in a braid! when i wear a single braid down the back of my head i like to pull some small curls out of at the top of my head and then put on a sparkly headband. it's an easy, elegant look! :)

peetakatniss1 it definitely helps to use a small curler on those stubborn pieces of hair that either just wont curl or are full of frizz. I would recommend staying away from shampoo because it separates the curls which is not good for our types of hair. I love

briana13 When deep conditioning during hte winter, try hot oil treatments to preserve and enhace a curls wear, strength and health. Any natural oil will work on damp hair, then just blow dry or sit under a hooded drier until it the hair is crunchy then rinse!

briana13 depending on your texture, you may use different oils.since yours is frizzy i'm assuming, try using olive oil mixed with melted down coconut oil.heat up the oil and blow dry til hair is crunchy then wash out with cold water.

peetakatniss1 mixed chicks works great for curly hair!! Also don't be afraid to use a curling iron to define the frizz. I use a half-inch curler so that the curls blend in with my natural ones. It makes your hair look awesome :)

briana13 when choosing a conditioner consider ur hair type. for fine:a light moisturizing conditioner thats meant for rinsing out or just a leave-in thick:a thicker product just on the ends. frizzy:one with oils to smooth the cuticle. :)

peetakatniss1 Instead of using a brush try combing through your hair with your fingers while you are in the shower and it is wet. A brush causes a lot more frizz. I always get my hair wet in the shower and condition it each morning so it is much easier to style.

briana13 here's a quick simple hairstyle: after shower when hair is wet-to damp apply an anti frizz product.then,take an elastic and pu hair into a high ponytail.only wrap the elastic around twice for hold but it will be loose and your hair will appear long.

awtechnofish d sort of like a french braid. Make the twist go backwards and down the side of your head until you think it's good. Tie the end of the twist with a small hair tie or for all you brace-faces, or former brace-faces one of your dreaded rubberbands

briana13 @madi_830 a good hairstyle is a pineapple, gather the hair into a top knot but, don't make a bun let the hair out and if a few peices fall out smooth them with oil. try to pair this style with really cute earrings,like hoops or dangly ones!

awtechnofish Whenever I wear my hair down I love to put the front part up in a cute barrette :) also when you have that one piece of hair that insists on sticking out weird or frizzing, just put it in a small braid or twist to control it

briana13 Heres some knowledge:Curly hair needs moisure so dry styling oils are pefect for that.they smooth flyaways on dry hair and on wet or damp hair prevent frizz! try: Organix macadamia dry styling oil($6)or Garnier Fructis morracan sleek oil treament

briana13 Anyne want another hairstyle?:Part your down the middle. if you have bangs leave them out.Fix both sides in low pigtails. let the hair hang lose OR braid tiny-tiny peices and blend them with the wave or curl texture.

awtechnofish @transform2314, I use Dove leave in conditioner after I shower to keep frizz down. Deva Curl is my all time favorite brand of shampoo and conditioner, It de-frizzes and defines curls :) Low-poo shampoo doesn't lather, therefore not drying out hair :)

awtechnofish I like to use argan oil (I don't think I spelled that right) on the ends of my hair. It keeps the ends from frizzing!

briana13 have you heard of washing your hair with a silicone free conditioner? it'll keep your hair smooth and moisturized.also, try not blow drying, rinsing with cold water, or drying hair with a old t-shirt then using an anti-frizz creme. <3

Fmwhitt Tip #2: I find it really beneficial to shower at night. It cuts down on stress, due to less rushing around in the morning, and your hair can air-dry overnight, therefore cutting down on unnecessary heat that could damage your hair,

Fmwhitt Thank you so much, @briana13! My first tip: whether wearing your hair straight after flat-ironing it, or naturally curly, you should ALWAYS wear heat protectant if your hair will be exposed to the sun. Otherwise, it will harshly dry out your curls.

briana13 2.pull back bangs OR tease crown until there is a bump (not as big as snooki's LOL). then, pull half of hair up (so some is still left out in back) almost like a half-up style. smooth hair with anti-frizz creme or hair oil to fix frizz or flyaways.

briana13 Tip #3: try to use a sulfate-free shampoo. this will be less harsh and less drying to your hair. you can find sulfate-free shampoos in the hair care isle. look for 'organic'! trust me, it really helps!

briana13 Tip#2: use a moisturizing conditioner to fight frizz. if not better, use one that is silicone free and won't weigh the hair down or build up. if use one that is silicone or 'cone' free it can double as a leave-in conditioner! <3
