sfluv Hey girlies! I love chili, and making it in fall is one of my favorite things to do. My favorite chili recipe is my moms. This is a very simple and hearty chili with plenty of flavor. It's even better the second day! I serve this with low fat Cheddar cheese and low fat sour cream. It's also delicious with crackers. Here are the ingredients: 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil 1 pound ground turkey 1 onion, chopped 2 cups water 1 (28 ounce) can canned crushed tomatoes 1 (16 ounce) can canned kidney beans - drained, rinsed, and mashed 1 tablespoon garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper Here are the directions: Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Place turkey in the pot, and cook until evenly brown. Stir in onion, and cook until tender. Pour water into the pot. Mix in tomatoes, kidney beans, and garlic. Season chili powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 30 minutes.

sfluv Hey girlies! I know its flu season and the cold weather has us down, but my recent studies show that some food you are eating may help you get better. Lets start with how to avoid the cold: eat plenty of strawberries, oranges, broccoli, peppers, spinach, and cabbage. Next, lets talk about how to not get worse: eat sun flower seeds, leafy green vegies, nuts, avocados, and foods made with corn oil. Now, I have my new “Super Food”: Papayas. sfluv There is snow here, you just need to dig for it. In the mountains, in the high desert, in the northern part of California. But the beach is the main attraction so most people forget that California in not an island.

purplepants99 Try making a bean & corn burrito. Mix some black beans, corn, salso, and cheese in a bowl. Then wrap the mixture up with a tortilla like a burrito and cook it on the stove until golden brown. It is a great thing to make in the morning for lunch!
