fresnobee “I’m not sure I can do it.” I whisper. “You can do it,” he starts “I believe in you.” He takes my hand into his, and I felt my heart skip a beat. I slowly gave him a unsure smile and he held my hand tighter. “Julie...” he says. I turn to him and look him in his hazel, beautiful eyes. “Yes?” He pulled me in closer and kissed me slowly. I close my eyes and soak it all in. His warm lips touched mine giving me butterflies. We pull apart and just stared into each others eyes. Maybe it’s my imagination. “Hurry up Julie! It’ll all be gone by the time you get here.” There it went again! How does this voice know my name? It has to be my imagination, it only makes sense. “Wake up! I saved a pancake for you. You might consider getting up when I call you to the table for breakfast.” All the sudden my eyes flutter open and I realize it was all a dream. I make sure my body is intact, and slowly stand up. I push open the door, and make my way to the kitchen. Seriously, I can’t believe I was dreaming! I was making my wishes and saying farewell to life just to find it was a dream? “Mom, I can’t believe this.” “Believe what, dear?” “I had the most interesting dream the other night. But it can wait, I’m starving.”

fresnobee Uh… I’ve already floated to the top as I was thinking of my solution. The cold has truly affected me now. My skin had turned purple as I floated in the indescribably cold water. My head had continued to bleed but it lessened as time passed. It was as if I was being ignored by the everlasting, taunting time. Now I knew I had no chance of surviving the rolling ocean that was moving rapidly; I felt it wanted to rid of me. I could barely move my body with the little strength I had and the ship was sunken. My best move was to give up and stay afloat as long as possible. Maybe I was meant to die young. I never truly understood why I was created. But that had to wait; all of my thoughts had to be cleared so I would have a chance to make my last wishes.

fresnobee They would tell me nothing is impossible, it was just an excuse to get out of trying. So now I have to try. I can’t give up knowing that I have a chance. I am already 30 feet in the air. If I weren’t in water and if I were in the air, I would feel the force of the water and I would be swinging in wild movements. Though the thought distracted me, it could not keep me from feeling the bleeding sore burn my scalp. As I thought about the force of the ship causing me to make silly gestures, I surprisingly bumped my head on the mast. Why am I constantly getting injured? What did I do that has caused me to have such bad luck? I don’t understand. But it’ll have to wait. I must think of a way to get off the boat safely because I’m getting more nauseous by the second. If I can’t figure out a solution quick, I’ll drown to death. My last chance, my last hope to survive.

fresnobee “I’m alive? I’m alive!” I exclaimed. I’m not wet? How can this be? A dream? No. Not possible. I couldn’t have felt such torturing agony. But it had to of been. It’s the only logical possibility. How could I have fallen asleep! I was supposed to watch out for any signs of danger. What? The boat is sinking! “Help!!! Help!!!” I cry. No one is coming! The water is rising quickly. I race across the deck as quickly as I can. Though I’m in a hurry, it’s very difficult to wade across the deck when you’re already knee-deep in the water. I finally grasp my bucket and start to throw out the water. It’s rising rapidly, and I can’t possibly toss out the water at these speeds. Shoot!!! The bucket flew out of my hands, and into the endless reaches of ocean. My last chance was to climb the mast as the water rose, and then to swim back to shore. Now, the water was up to my chest. I could only wait for the water to rise because the first bar on the mast was too high. As I wait for the water to lift me onto the topsail, I think about my chances of survival. The water is above my neck and I start to float up. The water makes me feel paralyzed. It is freezing my body by the second. The knowledge of knowing that I had a long way to swim frightened me. How would I make it out alive? This isn’t a dream like the last time. This is real. If I’m feeling urged to give up now, what about the swim to shore. I won’t have anything keeping me afloat so how it is possible for anyone to believe the outcome will be good? I am hopeless, but I must try for my Mom and Dad.

fresnobee I feel the throbbing, rhythmic pounding coming from my ankle. I realize that my foot had been bitten. Once more, I am pain stricken, but in my other leg. MountainLover456 Here ya go!!!!!: The next day, Justin texted me and asked me if I would like to go out with him to a restauant near campus that night. I replied yes right away- it would be nice to get away from the world of textbooks and teachers. I decided to get a dress because according to Justin , I had to dress “Fancy” I asked Megan if she would like to come, and she said yes. We went to the parking garage and got out my car. Our first stop was Forever 21. I saw many cute things, but nothing stood out for me. Our next stop was a small dress shop. We went in and I saw the most beautiful dress ever- not to casual but not super dressy. I quickly found some shoes and we were on our way back to the dorm in no time. When we arrived, I felt my phone buzz. *Hey will you be ready to go by 6?-Justin* I quickly replied yes. I looked up at the clock and saw that it was only four. I put on my dress, shoes,and makeup and was soon ready to go even though the clock said it was only 5:55. At six o clock sharp, Justin knocked on the door of my dorm. His eyes practically bulged out o his head when he saw m, and I appreciated the attention.

MountainLover456 Finally it was the first day of classes. I had been ready for learning since the day I say my schedule. Megan on te other hand, well, let's just say that she liked summer. I took another breath and was prepared to walk in when I felt someone grab my arm. I turned around and was surprised to see Justin. MountainLover456 Once we are done, we run to catch the bus heading near campus. Today we will get situated in our dorms, and tomorrow will be the official check-in. I am super excited to meet my new roomate. Hopefully we will be good friends. I sigh and make my way up the stairs to my floor. When I open my door, I am amazed to see it empty- I had thought that I would be the last one here. As soon as I finish that thought, In comes a girl with long dirty-blonde hair. She is trying to haul in here suitcases, and I choke back a laugh as I head over to where she is standing. "Here, let me help you with that," I say. She shoots me a greatful look and smiles. I grab a teal suitcase and pull it through. Once we are done, we collapse on our couch- compliments of Oxford. I turn toward her, ready to get to know her.

MountainLover456 When we get onto the plane, we ask some people if we can switch seats with them in order to sit with eachother. Luckily, they agreed and we were soon on our way to England! “Jess! Jessica! Wake up! We’re here!” Says a voice that I immediately recognize. I open my eyes to see Justin peering over me. I sit up and look out the window to be greeted by… fog. Mounds and mounds of fog. I sigh and begin to pack up my stuff. We walk out of the gate and immediately head for the bathroom, because well, no one really wants to use an airplane bathroom except in the worst scenario possible.
