spunkyzigzag for my cross country team we have mile clubs were we run a certain number of miles during the summer. for example i am doing the 400 mile club were u run 4 miles a day. there is also the 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700 clubs

Runnergrrl16 I am trying to, but my schedule is pretty crazy and the heat is pretty much unbearable even in the evening or early in the morning. But I really don't want to be out of shape when it starts up again!

kittycadet101 My favorite place to run would be on trails (it's just so exhilerating) But i usually just have to run on roads or sidewalks which i enjoy too. I've never run on a treadmill and don't plan on trying it!!

retef Same here. I mean, track has a lot of races so if you fail you get another chance, but xc is just one race, but track everyone is in it, but xc theres less people but everyone gets closer as a team. ITS A TIE!!!!!

retef IKR! Yesterday i was looking forward to doing a long run.... about 6 miles.... I ended up only doing 3 :(. Track affects me a lot becuz we like have never done long distance during practice, tho its great to do it for endurance....

milkyway7117 Hey! I love running in the rain! I'm in 8th grade. This is my first year in track but I've done cross country every year I could, which was three years... Since 6th grade Unfortunately best race was a just 5k where I won for girls 15 and under.

retef I bet it was!!!!! Once i was at this big race and i got 21st.... 1 place after placing for a medal :( The saddest part was they were really cool medals and the person who got 20th was right beside me when I crossed the finish line :(

~aliciajoy~ At our school Junior Varsity runs a mile. Sometimes a mile and a half. Varsity runs about 2.5 miles. Im happy to say as an 8th grader I got moved up to Varsity (: So yeah. Cross Country is pretty amazing. (If you like running!):)
