laurlaur24 My main feature as a performer is singing, so I don't have to work on that as much. For acting, I take classes year round, and perform whenever I can! I'm really weak in dance, so I just started jazz classes to strengthen that area.

balletchic @queenzeth: I know it sounds nerve wrecking but it isn't! Just remember to try to be as close to your character as possible. How do you think your character felt? What is the tone for the character in the monologue? (mad, sad, etc.) Be confident!!!!!

balletchic @topchef: Absolutley not!!! If you really have a talent for acting and would want to be an actress more than anything, go for it!!! If you can't dance try taking at least one Jazz and/or Tap class a week, because you need to at least know the basics.

cupcaker95 doing small shows in my community when I was 8 years old and did school plays in middle school. Then I went to a performing arts school in high school which I learned a lot, and learned how to find auditions and how to dress/what to sing and such.
