luvpeacehappiness ... it is a 5 inch strip. Then pinch the middle. It should fold into a bow tie shape but if not you can fold it into the right shape. then slide the bobby pin onto the part you were pinching. Next, take a smaller piece off. about 1/2 inch will do...

ericahopet (this isnt DIY but anyway...) there is also hairdye that you can get at most drugstores that you apply with a brush that looks sort of like a mascara brush... comes out with shampoo. the brand name is splash

singitloud99 well I've heard that chalk pastels work better than straight chalk! you can get big packs at Micheal's or another craft store. they come in LOTS of colors, and if you use a coupon they are reasonably priced! I've never done this but I wanna try it(:

Tinyfire14 DIY t-shirt: you will need a plain dark colored shirt, some duct tape, and bleach in a spray bottle. It is so easy and fun. All you do is put cardboard in the shirt, put the tape on however you want (words, symbols, etc.) and spray with bleach.

gingeriscute22 ---T-shirt necklace choker--- This is for those of you that know how to sew: get an old t-shirt that you can cut a part (no V-necks), a needle and thread (the thread the same color as the shirt), about a foot of elastic band (bigger than the collar at least), and scissors, --- DIRECTIONS---cut the collar and about 2 inches around it off of the shirt, then cut it apart (so it is no longer in a circle, you can pick it up and it is a line, worm like ) Sew the extra material (the two inches around the collar) in to a loop,(you should have a tunnel now) DO NOT sew the two ends closed. Pull the elastic threw the loop and sew closed. Then together like you started. The necklace should fit over your head. XD if you have questions <3 comment on my profile.

tinyfire14 then, take another piece of ribbon and cut it in half to make it thinner. wrap that around the middle where you glued the ends down. glue it and let dry. after that, take a bobbi pin and just push it into the loop. now you have a cute hair bow!

emonkey4 Here is an idea for a hair pin... take a bobby pin and glue red and green beads (or blue and white if you are Jewish)onto it. I make these and sell them and they are so cute and easy.
