My club is for all of the procrastinators of the world!What is a procrastinator? A procrastinator is someone who puts things off till the last posssible moment!I will give advice on planning and how to deal with procrastination stress.

amazingamy98 Hey everybody!! Since school is starting back up soon, I thought that I would post a tip about studying. My mom taught me that making up weird things works. So, if you can think of anything that would relate to something that your studying... Use it! For example, my dog, Joey, is a HUGE scavenger. We don’t starve him but he is always looking for more food! So, when I had to remember the word scavenger, I just remembered that scavenger=Joey. Or, if you’re studying capitals of different countries, see if you can find a word within a word. Anything helps.

amazingamy98 Hey everyone!! maggiebowl: I loved 5th grade! Notes can be hard. Before school starts, create a format on how you are going to do your notes. I like doing bullet points and just writing down key words and phrases. You have to listen carefully to make sure you don’t miss anything. Hope this helps. If you need any more ideas on formats just let me know! rocker7: So you have to read 3 books by the end of summer? One thing you could do (highly recommended!!) is set aside a set time each day to read. Preferably at least an hour. (Maybe longer!) Also, anytime you have free time grab one of the books and read. Hope this helped!

amazingamy98 12maxandgretel: First of all, welcome!! Glad you joined. Back to the point. I like to sleep in too. The way I have found to wake myself up is a time limit. I have a song on a cd that has a slow part then a fast part not too far in. I try to get my alarm off and to get out of bed before the song gets to the fast part. It works pretty well. lexxi12 omg! same here! for me i think with the new school year coming on.. RIGHT when you get home from school do your homework or finish studying that way you have the rest of the day to stop worrying about it! i KNOW it sounds lame! but its sooo true!

HaleyofTroy Stay away from technology. Turn your phone off (if you have one), turn off the tv and your computer, et cetera. just sit yourself down and READ. Or go to a library, where it's really quiet

amazingamy98 gh school.It's not that different from middle school. It might be bigger and you might be able to eat of campus. You will get more responsibilities and possibly more homework. I'm sure you can do it though!!

amazingamy98 (continueing) If it is, than get your mom to help you study in carpool or while your eating breakfast. If you ride bus, then have a friend help you study on the way. If the test is after lunch, then study during lunch or study hall. Bye everybody!

amazingamy98 Hi everybody! Sorry I haven’t been on lately! Stress tip 5: what’s your pet peeve? (Yes, I know what you’re thinking, ‘what does this have to do with stress!?!’) Well, your pet peeve might be related to procrastinating. I don’t like having too many things to do at once. When I procrastinate I end up with a million things to do at once! Yours might be that you don’t like being yelled at, or you don’t like having no free time. Think about it, procrastinating fuels all of these. I know some pet peeves don’t tie in but some do. Think about your pet peeves and how not procrastinating would change them. Maybe that would help, maybe it won’t change a thing. My point is that procrastinating might be taking a toll on your attitude. Procrastinating might control more of your life then you think. In the comments, tell me about your pet peeve and how (if so) not procrastinating would help! Bye!

amazingamy98 800metersrunner: I'm not very organized either. I try my best to keep organized, but its not easy. If you have a homework folder to put your homework in, that would help a lot. Also, try to have more than one, that way you can put finished homework in one folder and to-do homework in the other. Hope this helps!

pebo11 What I normally do when I have a lot of homework is I reward myself when it's done. Also, try to start your homework as soon as you get home from school. I find that if I don't, i end up having a harder time getting started.

amazingamy98 Stress tip 1: If you are getting frustrated, get a snack and a drink to relax yourself. By the time you finish eating it, your mind should be clear enough to keep going.

amazingamy98 Sit somewhere comfortable (couch, beanbag chair,ext.) then see if you can buy on off those laptop things. The bottom is squishy for your lap but the top is hard. It is perfect for homework. Also make it into a game. Start pretending. It works. It he

amazingamy98 I take breaks. Maybe every 45 minutes you should take a break. But only if you have worked really hard! Make sure that the break is short. Maybe 5-10 minutes. Also like being comfortable. Don't sit in a stiff chair with nothing around you.

gymnastg I transfer them to a calender in my room. When I get a project far in advance I write out a plan and break it down into small chunks for each day. Its the equation for straight As!

pebo11 I would make a brief plan of the report. Then, instead of writing down my rough draft, I would type it up and then edit it a few times, saving me 20 min. If I didnt finish it that night, I would wake up a little early the next morning to finish it.
