littlemissy226 So we are getting a new house-double the size of our last one and I am not sure what color to paint my room. My last room was light pink and I was thinking of a shade of purple. I bought a Luis Vuitton bag, Michael Kors bag, tall Bailey button Uggs, riding boots, cashmere scard, and the cutest yankee hat (I don't really like baseball, but I am a New Yorker and the colors I got it in were so adorable.I also got some new jeggings and sweat pants. Plus I even went to the hair salon! What a great way to start the week!! LOL.

littlemissy226 @Bloop116 There is no such "website" to get a agent. You need to do research and you need training before you get an agent in your skill. What do you do-film or model? It is not easy to get jobs and you may need a lawyer to look over your agent's contract if you are not sure what you are signing. When you get a part at an audition you agene gets paid about 15% of whatever you make. You have to be ready just a day before to quickly go to auditions sometimes and you need a resume and headshots. Find a good photographer to get prints from. If you have any more questions, just ask!

littlemissy226 @skardiekat Try asking your acting coaches. You will probably want a manager more than a agent. A manager specializes in everything (print, flim, model) while a agent just does one type of job (like only hand modeling or only film). Look up some online, you want to make a reliable choice since you have to spend so much on one.

balletchic @Kelsea davis: There is stuff everywhere. See if you can take a road trip up to NYC, and audition for some different agents. You don't have to live in NYC, and agents tell you about auditions in your area. Agents are what every actor/singer wants.

FrenchMiss Tip: When acting, find a place in the back of the theater. That's called the "fourth wall". Unless you're doing improv and you're interacting with the audience, don't look at it. And especially before a play starts, don't peek through the curtain!!!!

FrenchMiss Hmmm... your sitch isn't so good. There's pageants everywhere, but you have to have money for especially glitz pageants. You need money to pay for classes (around $900) because even though Emma Watson only did school plays, she took acting classes.

littlemissy226 @FrenchMiss I have been in a couple of international soap operas, mainly featured in Europe. They are so much fun! I do glitz pageants sometimes...I really enjoy helping the younger kids. They are very fun. I am not as bratty as some of the kids on T&T, but I love doing them for fun. I would love to give you a position. All you really have to do is earn a spot by posting often for the next few days and telling about your skills and stuff!

littlemissy226 I left the pageant with some pretty good titles. I got a talent award (ballet). Then I also got prettiest eyes and most original tv commercial. Part of the pageant was to make up a tv commercial and I did it on dog treats with my puppy.

balletchic I go to a private school too! It's in NYC, and it's for kids who work professionally in the performing arts. My ballet academy has a partnership with them, so most of the kids from my ballet academy go there. It's a really cool school!

littlemissy226 Every year this big magazine in our region has this Cover Kid contest to be on the cover of their magazine. Last year I was a runner up and was featured in the mag. I got to go to photoshoots and meet big talent scouts. Actually my manager and agent help run this event. I can't wait, it it like in three weeks but I have to do a lot of training!

littlemissy226 BriannaM911 I bet your beautiful! If you would like an agent try taking acting classes first. Then from their your coach will help you through the process. See you can't just get an agent and plan to be in movies it takes training and a process. It took time for me to find a professional acting and modeling school and to get a manager also. The wait was sucessful because I have been in movies and fashion shows. So just believe in yourself. Don't worry about your size or look or talent. When you watch TV every person on that screen is not perfect. Casting directors look for normal looking people. So don't worry you are just fine. Good luck!

littlemissy226 I have only done a play once because I am not a fan of theater or plays. I like being in movies and tv shows better so it just depends on what you like. But plays are a good ways to start because they are simple, your school has them and you don't need an agent. Maybe after you do a few plays your parents will understand how much you love plays. And you might get so good a play casting director might see you and you could reach Brodway!

littlemissy226 Let them know that this is what you really like to do. If you do a lot of other activities wait until you are not so busy. Like I mainly do acting, modeling, and horseback riding. Ask your rents' and don't get mad if they don't know. Give them info on local acting schools. Acting is a hobby like anything else so ask and if they say no wait a few days and ask again. Don't expect a yes right away. While you are waiting for a yes try acting excercises and other things.

littlemissy226 abbyglow500 when you go to a talent agency and get a part your manager/agent will pick parts that are right for you don't be mad if you don't get a small part or no part. This is because maybe they didn't choose you because you were taller than the lead actor. This is fine. When pilot season comes around (which is spring) there will be lots of auditions. Remember that you will get a part soon. Remember you never have to pay for an audition. You have to pay for acting CLASSES but not the auditions. When you start classes before you go to auditions always ask your acting coach questions. She/He will let you know what you need to do to prepare from clothing to going to hair and makeup and getting your check at the end. It is a great expierience. If you have any more questions I would be happy to help. :)

littlemissy226 nutmeg22 Tell your parents in a casually when they are not busy. Let them know that this is what you want to do. Ask if you can take classes local. Tell them some good reasons like how good you feel on stage don't say things like I will get a lot of cash. Do some reaserch on your own like prices and things like that. Your parents just need to know how bad you want it. If you are not serious they are not either so don't expect them to say yes the first time you ask them. Let them think about it. I know this is a hobbie that you want to do and its just as hard as any other talent or sport. Remember don't beg! :)
