hoppswimmer10 Another really good thing to drink after a swim meet is chocolate milk. It has carbohydrates and protein that are both great to rebuild and reful mucels after exercise.

Swimmingroks I not only have that at swim meets, but after practice too! And I eat pasta the day before, peanut butter on the same day of the meet! I <3 to swim!

suchablonde OK so i have been swimming for years and like years and i have never heard about the chocolate milk thing. My coaches have always told me to eat a lot a carbs like pasta before a meet. It helps me win idk bout u though. <3 Erin Makenzie!

fireworks1071 @hoppswimmer10 -- I drink water during practice because I get horrible chlorine cough (ew wwwy!) and water is the only thing that helps me, but during volleyball/workouts I like Strawberry-Kiwi Propel Zero!! Delish!

alibaba I've heard from various coaches, as it is the belief of our head coach, that you're supposed to drink water during and before practice, and those types of drinks after. This is to replenish all of the good stuff that you lose when you sweat.

fireworks1071 @nerdisthewurd26 Lol yeah it is actually!! hoppswimmer10 - I hate ladders - 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, and back down!! Thats the worst!! And I'm not a fan of IM sets either :P I like the days when they let us do 10 min of straight swim!

fireworks1071 hoppswimmer10 -- I use a cute colorful TRY suit, LOL that's why I bought it! I don't think that swimsuits make you go faster, unless it's like a string bikini vs. a one piece. I wear my cute suit for practice and my team one for meets.

krazy198 Speedo Fastskins are pretty popular... Same with Aquablades. The fact that they're super tight does make you go faster, but only really makes a difference if you are trying to drop hundreths of a second.

fireworks1071 @bacongirl9 -- I would say to go for it!! I would suggest to join a low-key fall/winter team with few/no meets to get back into it, then dive back into it FULLY next summer (: Work on getting your skill and strength back over the winter! GOOD LUCK xx

bacongirl9 i need advice, i like swimming alot but just for fun. since its summer, i go to beaches and pools 2 swim and it makes me luv it even more. i used to be on a team and i was ok but now i've gotten alot faster. should i join a team again????

cucu4cocopuffs2246 idk if you'll listen, but i think you should try it either now or just over the summer. That way if you end up not liking it youll at least be able to say that you tried it out. And you never know, you might end up <3 it like me!!! haha
