eternaldreamer My all time fave book series was The Fallen Star. It was wonderful: it ripped my heart out and put it back in my chest! It was thrilling and romantic and suspenseful and wonderful!

I started reading LA CANDY by Lauren Conrad, and the only thing going through my mind was, "This is horribly written; I can't believe I'm reading something this superficial..." :p I just hope most teen lit isn't like that! xD

peetakatniss1 Just saw Perks yesterday!One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Because the author of the book wrote the screenplay and directed the movie, it stayed incredibly true to the book. It is such an amazing story, my mom cried :) A must see/read!

fungirl123 Hello, Quirky Bookworms! :-) Since I’m too lazy – and exhausted from that five-hour drive home today – to write a full-out review of the three books I’ve read (see them all in one of my most recent updates below), I thought I’d just tell you quickly what I thought of them. My favorite of the three was THE LUXE by Anna Godbersen. I CANNOT express my love for this book. There was never a dull moment in it. The end was…oh, dear…the ending was enthralling! My next favorite was BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS also by the same author. All of the characters were relatable. There were a few twists which I was NOT expecting…and I loved it! <3 FORGOTTEN by Cat Patrick was my least favorite. The main character was a relatable teenage girl and the book was quite interesting. But I hated the ending. It left my hanging. :-\ Does he die? Do they find him? What happens next? The epilogue was no help. I didn’t take A NORTHERN LIGHT with me to Michigan, since I knew I wouldn’t have time to read it. I’ll start reading that tonight, hopefully. :-D

fungirl123 Okay, now I just feel like ranting. First is about Matched by Ally Condie. Ugh. This book has a really, really good plot. The characters were all very likeable, and it had a few interesting points in it. But here’s one thing: I absolutely abhor it when authors don’t give any background information on this completely weird dystopian society. Yes, it did mention a few things, like how they had the Hundred Poems, Hundred Songs, and Hundred Books. But they didn’t even give any background information on the Matching process…and that’s the most important part of the whole book. Here’s the basic plot of the book: In the Society (Yes, in the book that’s all they call it. “The Society”), the government and Officials (also always capitalized) controls everything, where you work, where you go to school, what you eat, when you eat, and your spouse. But the most important thing for Cassia, the protagonist, is the Matching (always capitalized). At first she gets matched with her lifelong crush, Xander…but then she finds out that she has another match, Ky. And as far as I know, most of her drama centers around, “Well how could the Society have made a mistake?!” I think it’s dumb how small things are capitalized (i.e. Official, Society, Match, etc.). But my biggest problem was the ZERO background information factors. I didn’t even finish the book. But if you don’t mind those kinds of books, then I’m sure you’d love this piece! :-)The next book is the entire Pretty Little Liars Series. The plot is amazing, don’t get me wrong! It’s so mysterious. But I’m so bored with the fact that Sara Shepard never stops writing new books! She just keeps writing more! :\ And now it’s gotten out of hand. It shows soooooo evidently that she doesn’t even plan out the new books! She just throws these things in and they don’t even match up with the things she’s said in past books. In fact, she’ll say one thing and then another in the next. This is kind of a spoiler, but Emily gets pregnant in one of the more recent books, and it says that she never told one person about it, except her sister. Not her family, not any of the other girls (Hanna, Aria & Spencer). But then two books later (maybe one book later?) she goes on to talk about how she told Spencer, Aria, and Hanna about her pregnancy in the middle and what they’re reactions were. What the heck! She also never mentioned the adoptive mother…and in the most current book (I’m reading it now), the almost-adoptive mother becomes a huge deal! There’s even a flashback to the night that Emily had the baby! It’s getting on my last nerve. :\ The only good-ish thing I have to say about this is that the plot is so riveting that it just draws me in. At the end of every book, there becomes a few new suspicions as to who’s A. But, honestly, the book should have ended after Wanted. But now it’s four books later and she’s still writing more and more and more! Ugh. Now we’re on Book Thirteen: Stunning. But I just can’t stop reading it! Sorry for the anger that might have been felt in this rant…I just needed to talk about it.

Nightless they're capitalized to represent a significant being/group. For example, we would capitalize the word God. It's the same thing. Another example is a country or state or province.

fungirl123 @xXMissBehavedXx - I wish I could help you with that one. But sadly ideas for stories don't just pop into mind on command. First, let's narrow down the choices. What genre? Sci-fi, Historical, fantasy, fan-fiction, fairy tail, retelling, steampunk, Christian, mystery, romance, urban, alternative history, short story, epic, etc. Yeah, I’ll bet you didn’t know that all of those examples are types of fiction. Choose. (hehe :P) Now, as I said, I can’t help you with the actual idea for the whole story. But I love helping people with ideas for writer’s block when their in the middle of the story. <3

I like it because it has an effect where you can copy-write your work and prevent people from copy & pasting it. Every single character in the book was described with fascinating detail that made you get to know every single one. There were a few deaths that especially made me tear up a lot. It was a real page-turner when I got into the middle of it! Veronica Roth made it feel like we were literally watching it all on screen. I had a picture of every setting in my mind like no other book ever. If I had to rate this book, it’d be up there with the Harry Potter and Hunger Games series! Here is just a little saying that sums up all of the faction stuff: One choice. One choice decides your friends. One choice decides your beliefs. One choice determines your loyalties—forever. One choice can transform you. OVERALL RATING OF BOOK – 5/5 stars. I loved the entire thing. I know that I’ve said this often, but this book was seriously F-A-S-C-I-N-A-T-I-N-G. It reminds us that becoming fearless is impossible. It’s learning how to control your fears…and how to be free from them. I’m really looking forward to the movie that is said to come out in a year or two. :-) I’d really like to know if any of you have any book recommendations! I love dystopian/utopian books. MY THOUGHTS – I loved the entire thing. I thought it was the best idea ever for Lauren Oliver to sum up the entire past of the US in two short sentences right at the beginning of the first chapter. Here is some background information on Lena Haloway: She used to live with her father and mother. But her mother and father are both now gone, and no one knows if they are alive or dead. No one knows. She lives with her aunt Carol, Uncle William, cousin Jenny and her other cousin Grace (who is mute, I may add). She is sixteen and has a best friend named Hana, who is almost the opposite of Lena, a quiet and awkward teenager. The first big conflict for Lena is the evaluations. The evaluations pretty much sum up the rest of your life. They ask you a bunch of questions in a lab room. Then your future spouse is picked by the government. Lena just wants to get the whole thing over with and get on to live her life just like everyone else. But a series of events makes Lena change her whole mindset about the entire process. How could they say that there is a cure for love? She used to believe that they were right. Until Now. Now she’d rather be infected for the tiniest silver of a second than to live a hundred years…smothered by a lie. OVERALL RATING OF THE BOOK: 5/5 Stars. It had absolutely NO dull moment. It described everything that needed to be described. Lauren Oliver is truly amazing at what she does. ;) It was the most captivating book I’ve read since The Hunger Games. If you enjoy any dystopian-society-type literature books, you’ll adore this book. It had me enthralled every second. You will enjoy it, I guaruntee! :D It came out last year, and it’s incredibly popular. So you will be able to find it wherever you go, I bet. They’re self-development books, kind of like Chicken Soup for the (Teenage) Soul. Do you get it? In case you don’t, here are the 7 Habits of Sean Covey’s book, designed to help you excel in your teenage life and prepare for your future. *Habits 1-4 are “private victories” meaning that it’s just you who will notice the changes. 1: Be Proactive- Take control and responsibility for your life. Understand that you are responsible for your own [un]happiness. Don’t blame others for your actions/feelings. 2: Begin with the End in Mind- Have a plan of what you want in the future. Follow up by creating a personal mission statement. 3: Put First Things First- Prioritize (i.e.: homework before TV) and complete the most important things in your life. Learn to overcome fears and be strong during difficult times. *Habits 4-7 are “public victories” meant to help you strengthen your relationship with others. 4: Think Win/Win- Be optimistic in all situations. 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood- Learn to listen to others before you expect them to listen to you. Understand that the world does not revolve around your problems and your problems only. 6: Synergize- Learn to work with others to create something better than what either could alone. There, Kate learns so many things about Jarrod’s family past, and Jarrod sets out on a quest to save Kate, and completely save the future. I think that Marianne Curley’s writing is very well done. But the story does take place in Australia, so the words are incredibly different and the dialogue style is completely different from the US. There is minimal adult content…but there is still some. So be aware. And since they so go back in time to the 1200s, women were treated very differently and were not respected at all. So be aware of that also. I am definitely going to search for Marianne Curley’s newer books. OVERALL RATING - 4/5 stars. So what are some of the books that you’ve been reading? :) This book is definitely on my tops list. I hope that you enjoy it. But this book was published in 2000 so it’s not really new and it probably won’t be at many bookstores. x0x0…! –Haley :P

fungirl123 Catching Fire (Hunger Games) is probably the longest book that I've ever taken to read. Usually, it takes me a matter of a hours to finish a book. But I got this book on my birthday (March 12th). The author's writing is just so.*what's the word?*. It just pulls me in so much that I don't want to end the book. Get what I'm saying? Anyway, a piece of my heart just chipped off. :( I'm in the middle of Catching Fire when Peeta just admits that either him or Katniss will get killed no matter what in the Quarter Quell. fungirl123 Okay, so I just came up with a new story idea. (@Lexi - my main character is named Aspen. I hope that you don't mind!:\) Aspen Parker is used to being the girl who’s all the rage at her school. She has everything. An amazing boyfriend—who is the most popular boy in school, I may add—and two best friends that hang on her every move. And most of all, she’s a star. Modeling and musical theater are Aspen’s callings. She’s worked hard for where she is now at her private school’s top-notch arts program in Texas. But now, she’s ready to take the next step to becoming a megastar. That next step is called Harper Academy for the Talented Teenagers—otherwise known as HATT—in New York City. HATT is THE most exclusive school. Aspen thinks that she will still be on top…but she ends up being terribly wrong. Most of the girls here are from uber-rich families in the city. And the only boy that she wants is totally off limits—he’s the most popular girl’s brother and her best friend’s boyfriend. So Aspen decides that it’s time to make changes. fungirl123 Well, for starters, the Twilight movies were TERRIBLE compared to the books! For every movie, they just went farther from the books. But the books are great! Harry Potter is just plain AMAZING! The movies were amazing along with the books. And I think that the Hunger Games books were amazing...and in interviews with the directors, etc., it said that they are staying pretty on-topic with the books. :) And they picked great actors for it! So for now, I have to say Harry Potter. Sorry for the essay... :\

fungirl123 I'm done with the Hunger Games! :) AH-mazing book. :D I was kind of sad when: A.) Rue was also turned into an evil mutt (not that she could help it:(...) that was supposed to be out to kill Cato, Katniss, and Peeta. & B.) When Peeta's leg had to be replaced with a plastic one. :( I know this sounds weird, but I had a couple of 'favorite' Career Tributes. Those were definitely Thresh & Clove. But I was happy to see Cato and Glimmer get killed (Mean, right? But...) You MUST read the Hunger Games, now! I LOVED IT! Now I ahve to get Catching Fire! :D

fungirl123 (I posted these two paragraphs on my other writing club but I thought I’d share these with you) Writing tips: So, I found this amazing writing checklist on Go Teen Writers (http://goteenwriters.blogspot.com). It’s basically helped me for the past for days in my writing. Here you go: 1) Is there a good beginning hook? Does it drop the reader into the fictional dream? If not, what changes need to be made 2) Is there well-defined conflict and a feasible problem for the protagonist to solve? If not, what problem/event can be added or heightened? 3) Is there a brief description of the setting/time and place? Does it inform the reader without boring them? What changes can be made to improve this? 4) Does each chapter “begin with a bang”? Or does it start slowly, with unnecessary details or backstory? Where does the chapter really begin? Do I need to eliminate things that dull the beginning? 5) Was the chapter compelling? Will it keep readers turning pages? Or was it filler? What can be done to fix this? 6) Did the chapter move the plot forward? What is this chapter’s purpose? 7) Will the ending of the chapter hook the reader? Will they want to read more? Can you end the chapter a page earlier and gain more tension? 8) Are there any flashbacks? Are they necessary? Do they slow the plot down? How can they be shortened or made more dramatic? 9) Were there enough sensory descriptions? Do they seem too wordy? Would the reader skip over them or do they add to the fictional dream? 10 )Was the dialog consistent with each character’s age, education, and view on life? Was it full of tension? Did the character’s “pass the time of day” in any parts? Delete those and reword. 11) Are the character’s actions consistent with their personalities? If not, is there a genuine reason why they acted out of character? Is this reason revealed to the reader? 12) Are there unnecessary dialog tags that can be omitted, such as when only two characters are conversing? Is it clear which character is speaking? 13) Is there any “head hopping” or unclear POV’s? Is the POV consistent? Make changes accordingly. 14) Are there any continuity errors, such as character descriptions, etc.? 15) Are the historical details conveyed accurately? Double check sources. (Note. This only applies to novels set not in the present era) 16) Any clichés that can be replaced? Replace these with fresh intriguing phrases. 17) Is the inspirational element present in a way that is not preachy? Is the character’s faith journey displayed at all? 18) Is there continual romantic tension? (Note. This only applies to romances or novels with romantic subplots) 19) Is the chapter a suitable length? Is it too long or too short? 20) Is all grammar and punctuation correct? **Lastly, when ending the book and that last chapter, consider: 21) How is the ending of the book? Were all subplots wrapped up? Was it a dramatic “leave the reader pondering ending”, along with a lasting impression. Can it be improved? ***The next thing I wanted to share with you was my “Grammar Nazi” (as my English teacher calls me) lectures. I recommend (I know this makes me sound like an English teacher), but use sources…like a Thesaurus! It really DOES make you a better writer to use more…interesting words. Like, if your character is vain, use a better word than just “hair” to describe her looks. Use a word like “tresses”, etc. Or if you want a better word that just plain “happy”, use a word like…”jovial”, “merry”, “gleeful’, etc. Or “face”, a better word would be “appearance”, “expression”, etc. One word that I am SO tired of seeing in English class (when we’re doing writing projects) is just plain “a lot”. There are SO many other words to use. How about “loads”, “clumps”, “masses”, “bundle”, etc. And, honestly, I’m using my little cousin’s Children’s Thesaurus to look for these words. It will be worth it to find a much better word. (Sorry this was SUPER long!)

LexilicousCandy Hey girls! So earlier today I was chatting with some girls on another website called Project Inspired and we learned that we both like to read and write. So we started doing this thing where she posts a sentence then I post a sentence and it was Really fun! So I’m extending the game to you girlies! Here’s what we have so far: Bella stared at the tall gray wall looming above her, a wooden bow gripped in her hand. She gripped the bow tighter and tighter, waiting for the perfect moment to release the pressure, the never-ending tension, before it consumed her whole. The world was silent as the bow hovered just mere inches from the slab of concrete before her, then a shrill cry time began again and the bow pierced through, but alas broke in half, for a simple wooden bow cannot enter a concrete wall. She stared at the pieces of wood in her hands, shocked. Her blue gaze turned back to the wall, wondering what she should do now. Her other hand clutched at her violet dress, she turned and ran away from the wall, just before it crumpled to the ground behind her. She stumbled and fell and her knees screamed with pain, gravel grinding into the wounds. Her dress tattered and torn, she gazed around helplessly at the scene before her, and the tears flowed from her eyes. A strong hand gently spun her around and she found herself staring into the greenest eyes she'd ever seen. Startled and star-struck with awe, she found herself twirling in the field of green that was this stranger’s eyes. Then suddenly everything was gone, collapsed with the wall. She started trembling, despite the young man's firm grip on her shoulder. Her eyes fluttered shut as the world faded to black, but a velvety smooth voice sprung her eyes opened, and she was blinded by the bright light surrounding her. 'She's waking up,' the voice whispered, echoing in Bella's sleepy mind. “Shh, do not disturb the peacefully resting!” a second voice declared, his voice echoing through the room. At the sound of a familiar voice, Bella shook herself out of a deep sleep. She gasped. ‘Daniel what are you doing here?’ she cried to the tall, familiar blonde smiling down at her. Like in my AVID class we're reading Th 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey (It's an amazing book,you should check it out if you have the chance) and we are starting our 2nd semester this Wednesday (which means the year is half way over :D) and we just now finfished going over Habit 1 today! I don't know if we're going to make it through the next habitws before the year is over! LexilicousCandy @Haley I have read both The Luxe and the Bright Young Things series and I think they're awesome! I actually got inspired to start Marry Me Not because of The Luxe. Could you tell ;) But I'm pretty sure Sara Shepard doesn't write them, If I remember Correctly then Anna Godberson writes them. LOL :) But I have read Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game (On my Kindle- which I absolutely LOVE!) as well and Sara Shepard is a good writer. :) P.S.: I like Angelique (I like unique names too if you couldn’t tell! <3)

mangochick12 hey guys :) one of the most well-known books for kids (at least from my generation) is Peter Pan. I'm not afraid to admit it, I'm absoloutely in LOVE with Peter Pan haha. And I was just reading something on Peter Pan turning 100 yesterday and I found out some interesting stuff about the creation of Peter Pan. He's named after the author's friend's youngest brother I guess. And Pan is the greek word for of the wilderness or something like that. And the author's friend told him that every youngest sibling (even his youngest bro Peter) could fly. And he got the idea of Peter never growing up because his older brother died in an ice skating accident at age 14. Therefore, he'd always be a boy. Being a Peter Pan fan, I thought this was really interesting, and idk how many of u like peter pan, if any of u even do. but if u do, well, u know know more about him! haha

GirlyGirl4455 ***Orphan Inspiration By: Rachel G. ~Chapter 1~ Dana was born on the streets. Right under a bench in Italy. Her mother’s name was Memphis. She was very poor. When Dana was born, she knew she just couldn’t possibly take care of Dana. She was too poor. She had just a dime and 3 pennies. She could barely take care of herself. So she walked to the nearest porch, her baby cradled in her arms. She wrapped the baby in her only blanket and set her on the porch. Then she kissed the baby and whispered, “I love you.” But the baby was sound asleep. After all, it was the middle of the night. After she kissed the baby, she gave it a quick hug and ran away. And the baby was left there on the porch, in the middle of the night, with no family at all. In the morning, the baby woke at about 7:00 AM. It was a sunny spring day in Italy. Dana just lay there on the front porch of the McLachlan’s. So the baby gazed up at the sky and waited. She waited and waited for someone to come and find her and to take her into a nice home and live there forever. Finally, about an hour later, the front door opened. Someone came out. They gasped. “Michael, come see this!” she cried. Dana knew it as a woman’s voice. A man came running to the door. “What is it, Lizzie?” he asked breathlessly. Then he saw the baby. “A child!” he cried joyfully. Lizzie nodded. “We should keep her.” Lizzie said. “Well, we have wanted a child ever since we got married.” Michael admitted. “Then we shall keep her.” Lizzie said. And it was settled. Dana moved in with Lizzie and Michael McLachlan. She loved her new family. She had no siblings but she didn’t care. She had kind parents, and that was all that mattered. The house was huge. A kitchen, living room, office, family room, basement, 4 bathrooms, and 5 bedrooms, of which all the bedrooms were upstairs. Dana loved it. One foggy Tuesday afternoon, her dad came home and just sat on the family room couch, sulking. Dana was six years old at the time. It was the year of 2003. Dana had short brown hair with natural highlights in it. She had chocolate brown eyes and was tall for her age. She also loved Barbie and animals. Dana called in Lizzie. “Mom!” she yelled. Lizzie came running directly from the office into the family room. “What’s wrong?” she said nervously. Dana looked from her mom to her dad. “Daddy is sulking,” said Dana. Lizzie took a seat next to dad. “What happened Michael?” she asked calmly. Michael looked sadly into his wife’s eyes. “I’ve lost my job, Lizzie,” said Michael depressingly. Dana gasped. He spoke. “My last job was the best job I ever had, my dear. Printing is just my thing. If I’m going to get a new job, it might as well be related to my previous job.” Lizzie just nodded. Dana stood there by her mother, silent as ever. Finally, Michael spoke again. “I found a job!” he exclaimed excitedly. Lizzie smiled. “I knew you would.” Then Michael’s smile faded. “What’s wrong?” asked Lizzie. She had obviously seen his smile fade. “It’s in Ohio.” he said quietly. mangochick12 hey i was brainstorming the other day and i had a great idea that i thought "hey, y not tell the bookworms?" lol don't know what to get ur friends for christmas (and don't wanna break ur walet?) do u have a pile of books at home that are cluttering your room? do a book swap for chritmas!!! have everyone write some books they want on a list and if you have the book, give it to them! it' a great way to get rid of your books, and get some new ones, and no $ is spent!

I had to dress up as Isobel (A cheerleader) who was the main character, so my costume wasn't embarrassing it was just my cheer uniform and pom poms :) Now I have to write a comic and dress as a Superhero for science. :( THAT will be embarrassing; I’ll have to walk around all day like that. :P Especially since I have gym for first period (Which sucks!!!) so I can’t just switch out of it after science :(

Character’s Personality: Violet is so kind and sweet to everyone she is always told she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s flirty and always catching the boys attention which usually makes her a little flustered. Overall she is a confident sweetheart who basically loves everything around her. Character’s Family (Life): Has a younger sister Isabelle who loathes her sister because of her dazzling looks and sweet personality. Also has an older brother William who is 22 and married to a young girl named Penelope. Penelope loves Violet and is always spending time with her whenever William visits. She is considered her mother’s, father’s and William’s favorite which makes Isabelle despise Violet even more. My soft lips are even brighter as she applies red gloss to my already full and pouty smile. A light blush is added to my cheeks that gives my fair complexion a hint of color. In the hollow of my neck rests a set of pearls and on my petite hands are pearl colored gloves that go up to my elbows. Finally she slips my heels on to my feet and I am ready. Tuesdays & Thursdays I tutor 8th grade and younger, and everyday I have private orchestra sessions not to mention I also Babysit, am working on my novels and having meeting with the lovely models who do my covers for me. So I am so sorry if I don’t get on every day or stay on as long but you can see how busy my schedule is… however that won’t stop me from helping you girlies out with anything you need! I also have some exciting news… I got a letter from “People to People Ambassador Programs” and next summer I get to travel and study around the world to places including Italy, France, Switzerland, and Austria!!!!!!!! I am so excited I cannot even put it into words!!!!! :) I haven’t really been out of the USA so I am so freaked! So is your schedule packed full too? Did something awesome happen to you? Or maybe you’re in the program too? I would love to know! Also there was supposedly “the worst earthquake on the East Coast of the century” but I was taking nap believe it or not when it happened and I didn’t feel a thing so if you’re on the East Coast (or any of your family) like me I hope you’re all alright! lilbunny Books are way better if you ask me. A book you can understand the characters' personalities and feeling more because of the better description. In a movie, well, it's just a little more difficult to understand.

LexilicousCandy Hey girlies! So since I didn't really like he way "Black Love" was turning out I'm adding things, erasing things, you know editing it. So for now instead of going on with Black Love I am writing a new novel which has a cover and everything but For now I will not post the title until I am certain I am going to like the way it turns out. I’m only doing this because I don’t want to disappoint you guys like how I did with “Black Love” so before I get your hopes up I’m going to really work hard on this and make sure it’s great for you girlies to read! Once I’m more settled with it and comfortable about how it’s going to turn out I will post the cover (which I’m SUPER excited to show you girls!!!) and the story. I just don’t want to start it out, get some good readers then disappoint them by saying I won’t be posting it anymore. I hope you girls understand but I am seriously going to work extremely hard on this so I should be ready to share it with you girlies soon. LexilicousCandy Hey girlies so I just found this amazing website called inkpop.com You can read fiction novels, short stories, and poetry all created by teens just like you & me! You can also post any work you have on there and it will be rated and critiqued, you Just might make it to the Top Projects List! You can also rate and critique other’s work or someone else’s critique. It’s all friendly and helpful plus when you upload your story you even get to create your own cover for it! I personally love the website and so far my favorite book I have read on there is “Compeer” By: eddelune it’s a great funny, romantic novel with great details & description, a good plot and just an overall awesome read! It’s so good it’s hard to believe that it was not written by a published author and instead written by an ordinary teen with dreams just like us! I am currently reading the sequel “Inamorata” and I loved how I read of it so far just as much! I definitely recommend checking out this website and I hope to soon be seeing you latest works up there on the homepage! LexilicousCandy Ok so I'm going to do a book review 4 all the readers on this club. My first book is THE FORBIDDEN GAME by: L.J. Smith which is a paranormal romance book and it was great. I would give it 5 stars because it was well written, suspenseful and overall Just a great read. It’s a little lengthy, about 750 pages total but it’s three stories; THE HUNTER, THE CHASE, and THE KILL. If you want to find this book in your library I found it in the Young Adult section, there’s nothing inappropriate but if you have concerns you should definitely ask your parents first. However I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes anything to do with paranormal, romance, or just wants to enjoy a good book. LexilicousCandy BLACK LOVE PROLOUGE ADELAINE His eyes were a beautiful green with gold flecks. He looked like a Greek god with a muscular build, chiseled jaw, and probably the softest looking lips I ever saw. I was surprised girls weren’t all over him. He was standing under a weeping willow and it was like he was invisible. For some reason though I was strangely drawn to him like a moth to light. I just wanted to go over to him and do something, I didn’t know what but it didn’t matter as long as I was with him. That urge turned out to change my life as I knew it, and I’m not sure it was for the better. LUCAS I could feel her staring at me; I also noticed how she tried to be discreet. Oh how heavenly she looked with her black curls softly accenting her face as a slight breeze blew by. She was sitting on a park bench trying to read with one leg crossed over the other. Suddenly I was sure she was the girl. She was the light in my past, my key to the future, and the cure for my black heart… TO BE CONTINUED So what do you girls think? It’s from my new novel. However I’m just putting up the prologue until I see if people like it.
