Irishdancerzrule Irish, all the way! I started 6 years ago, and before that I did ballet, tap and dance team (although the ballet was of the "spin in a circle in a tutu as a 6-year old" variety). I love the way that it is traditional and modern at the same time.

christineah111 just started ballet a couple months ago. I'm 16. I'm the Tree Angel and the Snake Charmer in the Nutcracker- it's my first real ballet performance!!!

DaNcInGQu33N9812 Ballet. I've been in ballet for going on 9 yrs. now. And I'm super excited cuz my tickets for the Nutcracker came in the mail yesterday and they're front row seat tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sasser129 I'm new to this club. But I AM a ballet dancer en pointe, so i think I'm welcome right? Anyway, do you guys know some stretches for flexible hips?

tapgirl01 @sasser129 if you do the butterfly stretch, the goal is to get your forehead to the floor in front of you. Hope this helps!

Irishdancerzrule I've been dancing for probably 10 years (5-6 were Irish), and I just do Irish currently, although I would like to do ballet, but at my local dance studio, the two classes run at the same time.

DaNcInGQu33N9812 well, I've been doing DANCE in general for 9 yrs, and 8 of those yrs were ballet and 1 was jazz. I also like to do modern type dancing, but I don't take a class for it. I hope that kinda counts:)
