A Club for fitness. I will post tips to get a healthy, toned body and developing healthy eating habits. This is the perfect club for girls who are hoping to look great for swimsuit season, are training for a sport, are just starting to excersise, or just need some support from other girls fighting the same fitness battle. Also, let me know if you would like an officer position. I need people who will post tips at least every other day!

purplepants99 I have to run the mile tomorrow during gym:( I always get these cramps in my stomach half way through so I did a little research. Turns out that running faster actually cures those cramps. Also, pressing down on the cramp with 2 fingers.

purplepants99 So today, I got to go on a field trip to the capital of my state. When it came to eating lunch, I ate a really tasty sandwich. It was called the Farmers' Market Sandwich. It was lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, onions and hummus all on wheat bread. It was really, really amazing and it is really easy to make at home!

purplepants99 It's that time again- time for dad to take out his lawn mower. But lucky for you, cutting the grass is a great source of exercise! Just ask dad if you can start mowing the lawn and maybe you will even get paid! (Of course, its only exercise when you have the lawn mower that you have to push, not the one that you drive!)

IzzyBelly To trim down the fat on your body, you need to do cardio. If you do JUST strengthening exercises(S.E.) you will never see the results! The good thing about S.E. is that they speed up your metabolism, but make sure to get 20 minutes of cardio too! <3

purplepants99 Try and distract yourself while working out. Music, tv, and talking are great ways to do that. You can listen to music while doing yoga, watch tv while running on the treadmill and talk to a friend while both of you are on a bike ride!

purplepants99 @sunny4132- I'm not sure what the club is going to be called yet. Also, try exercising every night. Work on abs, legs arms, butt, and cardio. There are a lot of youtube videos that will give you a workout that focuses one one area. Try following one of those videos. Hope this helped!

purplepants99 So, I am joining a gym tomorrow. I am joining the one parents workout at rite now but if you are under 16 you need to go through a training course before you can use the machines. I have my training tomorrow- I am going to just get a one on one lesson with a trainer there. I can't wait to start going there more often!

purplepants99 NEW EXERCISE! These are called donkey kicks. They really tone up your legs. Get in plank position. Kick both your legs out as you jump. They jump and kick your feet up towards your but. purplepants99 I new ab workout that I just learned is a Double Crunch. For this exercise you lay on your back, put ur hands behind your head, and lift your legs to a 90 angle. You do a regular crunch with ur upper half and also bring your knees in towards you. As you are putting ornaments on your Christmas tree do toe raises or jump as high as you can(without knocking over the christmas tree of course!!) Unpacking decorations? LoveLifePeace @cbdancer: to get the blood circulating. I like to start off with thirty minutes of dancing. And I'm a huge fan of lunges, so pair those together, w/ maybe a few situps, and you'll have a great workout! if it's too much, just do what you can! :)
