volleyball514 If anyone has finals coming up, remember to spread out your studying. Don't just cram the night before! Also, type up a study guide for yourself. It will have everything you need at a glance & typing it will help reinforce info in your memory.

sparklysydafrid Hey girls, ok so I'm posting this on all the clubs I'm in, I know it doesn't really apply to this but I'm posting it on all my clubs. *VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Hey girls! Ok so this is a very important message, please read it everyone because it's a lot of information that you'll probably want to know! So my birthday is in 15 days (11/19) and I'll be 13! yay, I can't wait! For my bday I'll most likely get a cell phone &/or Facebook. If I get a cell phone &/or Facebook I most likely won't get on GL very much at all. I don't want it to sound like I'm only using GL until I get something else, but I'm just trying to be honest. I've really loved GL and it's a really great site and you girls are all amazing, super sweet girls that I LOVE! The thing is that once I have a cell phone and/or Facebook I'll be able to talk to my friends that I actually know, and I just won't have as much time to get on GL and I'll want to spend it talking to my other friends. I'm really sorry and I feel truly terrible writing this, but I felt like I needed to be honest with you girls. After my birthday I'll try my very very hardest to get on within 2 weeks to let you girls know what happened and what the situation is. If I'm not on by December 3rd then you can feel free to take away my positions and you can assume I will rarely be on again. I'm really really sorry. You have all been so nice to me, and given me so many great positions and really trusted me, and it means sooo so much, truly. I'm so sorry, but thank you so much for everything. You girls are all so amazing and super sweet! I love you girls! <3 Love, Sydney <3

volleyball514 (cont) prestigious college just based on the name. Find a college you like that feels right for you! There are tons of GREAT schools out thee that aren't "name-brand." if you really think that an IL is for you, that's great, don't give up your dream!

volleyball514 @sparklysydafrid: You could also look into jobs about fashion writing, like for magazines. You would probably need some sort of writing degree in college and there are tons of internships for students as well at places like Teen Vogue! Good luck!

volleyball514 I like my classes this semester. We have only 5 periods a day, and we have the same classes every day for the whole semester. It's pretty intense! But I like all of my classes and teachers so far so that's good. :)

volleyball514 I have honors classes too! They aren't really too hard for me. Girls, if you miss a school day or are just slacking off in class, ask a studious friend if you can borrow the notes/ they can tell you what they did in class. It may be on a test later!

volleyball514 Hey girls! If you're starting a new school and there is a back-to-school open house or something similar, go to it and figure out where all your classes are, as well as the caf, office, gym, etc. This will reduce stress & nerves on the first day!

volleyball514 When it comes to staying organized with your school supplies, dividers are your BFF! Stick them in big binders or notebooks to create different areas for different subjects and make sure everything has a specific place.

briblue3 relating towards wat glamgirlteen sed, when u get all of ur supplies, u can try wat i do: try 2 organize ur subjects by color or print. 4 example: all of my math stuff is blue, science is green, etc etc. it really helps me and i hope it can work 4 u!

glamgirlteen Tip: It's never too early to look for scholarships! There really is some available from middle schoolers to seniors. I like to use fastweb.com and collegeboard.org

glamgirlteen There are 5 officer positions. The two other ones are custom ones, including academic advice giver and social advice giver. And yes, you can run for every position if you want to, but I would like to know your first pick :)

volleyball514 My goals are to be top of the class at graduation (my school doesn't have a valedictorian... grr!), as well as taking college credits and studying abroad, and going to an Ivy League university- specifically Yale or Cornell!

lover_of_life I'll actually be a senior in HS this year (Yeah i know i'm old :P). My goal is get all A's and graduate with the most volunteer hours and get a great ACT score and get into a good college with LOTS of scholarships!!! :D
