CheerleadingCutie @Lissa10 It's possible that you will be a flyer. It is a really fun experience just trying out. You will probably have a dance and cheer to memorize in about 3 days. On the fourth day you will probably tryout in front of judges. Good luck!

lexilulucheer and the only prob with talking with my coach is that she is very short tempered and doesnt like me much. she always yells at me when i try to help people with what they r doing wrong. i guess i just have to talk to my bases. thanks so much though!!!

gretathegreat hey lexi, I'm a backspot, but my flyer had the same problem. First, try gently pointing out what they are doing wrong, and then suggest what they can do to improve. tell them all the positions are important and that you are part of a team.

pink and purple girl Katie- gymnastics is good for cheerleading ( i do it) but its not everything! it helps build muscle and flexibilty though so it definiteley helps! But doing cheering classes over the summer is a great idea because you still need to practice all the..

fungirl123 Hey,Katie!Gymnastics would help, but I wouldn't invest that much money in it just for cheer. Simple stretching helps. Stretch for about ten minutes a day. If you need further advice, ask your future coach for what you have to do and her tips!:) Haley

pink and purple girl I know what your talking about!!! It was like that for me at first too! You just realy need to stretch ALL THE TIME!! One good one is: get a mat then put one ankle on the edge of it then sit in the splits! hold for 2 min then come down and do regular

laxchickie19 Hey I'm not a cheerleader, but I wanna be!! I stretch every night, and do all of the stretches cheerleaders do. Im a great dancer and I've done my friend's routine with her a couple times. I work out every other day, so I know GREAT workouts
