BehindHazelEyes I recently bought some Nike Fusions! They are amazing! Even those who are not fans of Nike shoes loved them. I run faster longer and harder by switching. My pumas had no support before. I recommend these shoes to everyone.

BehindHazelEyes i have a pair of Nike Shox and Pumas. I love my pumas because they let my feet breathe, but support on hard ground isnt that great. The Nikes are great because they provide support, but my feet get hot and sweaty. They dont let air in.

kittycadet101 Nikes are also good for thin feet. But running experts say that really less is more. So maybe shoes with less of a sole may be better. It is also good to have a 10 min barefoot cooldown once a week to be sure to make your feet stronger.

kittycadet101 I would go to a specialty running store and get fitted for shoes. Their experts will point you to the best ones for your type of feet. Asics have a large toe box and are very cushy. I run in Saucony because I have very thin and a high arches.

BehindHazelEyes Officially vegetarian as of 3 weeks ago. Loving it so far! Veggie nuggets might be the best tofu based food ever! they actually taste like chicken. I recommend Morning Star brand veggie nuggets and burgers. The rest ive tried taste like crap!

retef 1. my track schedule lol. Mon: hard, Tues: moderate/ easy Wed: off, Thurs: hard, Friday: games/ easy. To gradually increase your runs i would suggest adding 1 or 2 more miles on your long runs gradually and slowly.

jcgirl14 That used to hapen to me alot! For me it was because my quads werent streched. A good strech would be to stand up, grab you'r foot and bring it to your butt. You should feel the strech in your quad. Always strech before AND after you run.

BehindHazelEyes i have the same prob. i have a tendon thingie in my knees so mine wont go away. If yours is just an injury id recommend getting knee bands or braces they provide support to your knees Buy them at your local drugstore (like walgreens if u have 1)

kittycadet101 You've probably heard of minimalist, such as the Vibram FiveFinger. I got the chance to try some on and they felt amazing! They help to stop bad heelstrike to a more natural gate which is overall way better. Also they reduce stress on the joints.

kittycadet101 I have been running of two years now and have convinced several of my more non athletic friends to at least try running, and they loved it! I think I would be good at this because running is more of a mental sport that physical.
