faithhopeluv if you don't like the way braces look on you try putting different colors on. its fun to have new colors to change it up a bit. Also, try bright colors for the spring time such as purple and pink.

radiogirl I have always done a color with pink so today I got black and white. The white is weird, but maybe because it's outside of my box! BTW my wires hurt I just got new wires. . .

puppylover1152 i just got my braces off on friday and my teeth feel so oddly smooth! i like being able to chew gum again! i also have a permanent retainer on my top teeth and i'll have to get full mouth braces in a year.

hadster22 Do retainers hurt at first? I'm getting my braces off in 2 months I want a permanent retainer that you can't see. Do you recommend it?

choclatenut111 Hey i use to have braces but they are off now. Trust me, i have been through everything: braces, rubberbands, retainers, headgear, pallot expanders, you name it!

faithhopeluv If it still hurts to eat food try just eating softer foods such as applesauce, yogurt, or icecream. Also try not to bite into anything. if the food hurts to bite into, just tear pieces off and chew with your back teeth.

oreolover123 OH NOES! IM GETTIN MY BRACES OFF ON MAY 14TH AND THEN ANOTHER RETAINER! THEN BRACES AGAIN IN A YEAR! GRRR i have had a ton of dental things. E arch and retainer and spacers and braces and ruber thingeys! SO ya

elizabethmariexo this isnt hilarious but I was at my friends house and she offered me a soft pretzel. I said sure and when they were done I bit into it and I was like "I thought these were soft pretzels" because they were hard! my friend goes "they are soft" and ate the rest of mine and felt my braces and my bracket had broken off!

puppylover1152 try getting a proxabrush! it can get rid of food that's caught in there. hope i helped!

QP10 The waterpik water flosser is amazing for getting the food out, so much easier than actual flossing. But after you get your braces tightened you have to set it to "1" cuz otherwise your gums might bleed since they are so sore day after!

thecupcakequeen I have a waterpik! It's amazing! If you get the special tip for braces you have to do it on "1" or else it will break it... :)
