frenchblondie @ilovesaturdays123- If you right split is hurting you're either too deep in you stretch, or your not warming up enough before you stretch. try no going down as far in your splits. As for balance, while turning, make sure that you are spotting(cont.)

balletchic Cousin11: First of all, stretch ALL THE TIME! In front of the TV, when you're listening to music, etc. Also, put a book under both your feet when doing the splits, and aim to touch the ground with your legs. This is called over-splits. Be careful!

rosiemoss7 I am on a competitive dance team. I am on tap, jazz, and hip hop. Make sure that you are always thinking about technique! Have lots of fun and use lots of facials! Be super clean, and know your choreography forwards and backwards. Enjoy!

cali princess Make sure you mention the great benefits! Its a great form of art and exercise plus there are so many girls out there to offer advice and support. Find an affordable studio in your town and take your mom there to check out what classes they offer. <3

cali princess Omg at my studios summer recital I did 10 fuettes into a quad PERFECTLY during my solo!!! But during the group number one of the other girls hit me while I was prepping 4 my flying disc. It only messed me up a little but I was kinda off for the rest.

Olivia Hager that is sooo cool! i dance at center stage dance academy. we are starting to practice for our recital dance.its called the flight of the bumble bee.it is so fast!but really cool!
