ellie hills Here are the magnets... pics up soon! Rainbow Crackle Bottle- Cap Magnets What You Need: *Bottle Cap - Go ahead, one pop won't hurt! If you can't find a pop with the right kind of cap, a craft store like Hobby Lobby for an example will have some for a cheap price. *A magnet to fit the back (craft store)*Nail Polish Crackle - I prefer black but any color will be fine like white, gray, or whatever you have! *Nail polish in rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow.... and on) OR markers in rainbow colors (tell me if you try this... I haven't tried markers!)and a clear nail polish (for the crackle to work) *Black marker or nail polish(optional) What to Do: Take your bottle cap and use the nail polish and paint in the colors of a rainbow on the inside, I recommend doing every other color, letting it dry, then doing the rest of the colors. If you use markers, draw them in, then do the clear coat. Then, take the crackle and put it over the colors. When it is done drying, you can draw or paint a black outline around the colors. Then however the magnet goes on, hot-glue-gun or peel off the back, put it on the back of the magnet. Finally, put in your locker or wherever and have a nice magnet! Not too hard huh? Sorry this is long, I kind of over explain things, hehe!! :) Have fun!!

ellie hills I might do that! I have a pencil bag and now all my stuff is ruined! My pen exploded when someone was borrowing it and they put it back in my bag. About 3 hours later I noticed it and EVERYTHING except one pencil, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser is ruined :( So right now they are soaking over the weekend (it happened yesterday) and hopefully a little will come off my turtle pen and a few other important things. My pencil bag might be able to be saved too. Whatever. Now I get too buy new stuff! And we got out of half of math class cuz me and 2 friends were covered in ink ;)

emonkey4 on the edges. Then, fold it again by taking one corner and pressing it to the other corner to make a triangle and a little sticky part at the bottom. Then, take your pen cap and wrap the tape around the it. Do this until the flower opens up!

emonkey4 DUCT TAPE FLOWER: This looks good on the cap of a pen. Get colored duct tape...this can usually be found in craft stores. Cut squares of it (doesnt have to be exact). Take one and fold it almost all the way into two triangles. Leave some sticky part

BriannaM911 Creative Card: You need Markers/crayons/colored pencils, paper. First fold an edge/corner up and trace it with the markers/crayon/colored pencils. Then repeat until your card is filled up.

ellie hills DIY Lava Lamp (TECHNICALLY this isn't a lava lamp, because it doesn't light up, but very similar): What You Need: *An empty jar, bottle, etc. It doesn't NEED a lid, but if you accidently knock if over, you'll want a lid.. *Food coloring *Vegetable oil *Alka Seltzer *Water Fill the bottle / jar a little more than half full with the vegetable oil. Fill the rest of the jar with water, but leave an inch at the top of the jar empty. Add 1O drops of food coloring. Break one Alka Seltzer into 4 equal pieces. Drop the pieces in one at time. After you drop one in, wait until it stops bubbling before you add the next. Then you have a lava lamp! I haven't actually tried this yet. I need to get some Alka Seltzer. I thought it would be fun to have you guys try it first! Tell me how it goes!

ellie hills Sorry the tutorial below is so long! It might look boring to read, but just try it! :) Feel free to post your own projects, and post some requests! :P

ellie hills Newspaper Bows What you will need: *Newspaper (Comics work great too!) *Scissors *Ruler *Tape and/or Glue *Stapler What to do: Cut 4 strips of newspaper 12 inches long and 1 inch wide. You can vary the lengths depending how big you want it.Sometimes I make small hair bows and hot glue gun them to barrettes or bobby pins. If you would like to do that, the measurements I use are 6 inches long and 3/4 of an inch wide. This may also vary in size. Next, take one strip of newspaper and fold both ends in to the middle. Overlap the ends just a little. Staple that. Do that to the other 3 strips. Then, take to strips and overlap them so they make an X shape. Staple. Do that with the other 2. Then, take both X's and overlap those to make a bow-like object. Staple. For a small bow, I usually use 2 X's and for a large one 3 or 4 X's. Again, that can vary by the way you want it to look. Then take a smaller piece, I usually make it about 4 inches starting out but usually cut it smaller, and overlap the ends. Tape or glue. I think tape is easier and faster but you can deicide. The glue or tape that in the middle. It should look something like a bow when you are done. It took me about 3 times to get it right. You can use designed papers (think zebra print or something cute) or comics (I love using Garfield!) and make them into hair bows. I got a lot of compliments and some of my friends want me to make them some. I hope you liked my first tutorial and hope I didn't bore you too much! :) Feel free to post some projects of your own.
