basketballcutie11 Yea, skygirl7 has great advice. Practicing is a great way to find your own sound- after that, work with what feels comfortable.

SkyGirl7 Most importantly, just be yourself. Never try to imitate someone else's singing, unless it's for a parody. Develop your own style. Each singer has his or her own unique style. You don't have to search for it. It's your natural voice.

SkyGirl7 If something is really too high or too low, don't strain your voice. Speak the notes that you can't hit. Your range will naturally expand, but there will always be a limit to what you can hit.

SkyGirl7 Once you learn a song, focus on the lyrics. It's not just about the notes. It's about the words. Sing with emotion. Really FEEL a song when you sing out. Think about the message. Find personal meaning by singing how you can apply it to your life.

SkyGirl7 Drink hot tea and relax your voice - don't clear your throat, don't scream, don't whisper, and don't talk too much. In the morning, sing simple songs. Practice songs that are in your range with a couple too-low notes & a couple too-high notes.

ofd911help make sure to find your correct range such as alto first soprano and second soprano u can ask your schools chorus teacher before a concert or any event drink lots of hot liquids or pineapple juice if you need any more help im full of more answers

SkyGirl7 I also would love to be VP; I thought the slot was filled before, but I'm still fine with secretary. I'm a passionate singer & actress. I sang at Carnegie Hall & Lincoln Center this year. I had the lead in my 8th grade play & in my two camp musicals.
