DaNcInGQu33N9812 Sorry I haven't been on SUUUUUPEER hectic summer, and school starts in 2 days so... anyway! For those of you who are looking for a flat tummy, focus on cardio (running, walking, dancing, swimmming. . . anything that gets your heart pumping!) paired with toning moves (crunches, planks, situps, bicycle crunch, V-ups, V sits, straight-legged crunch, etc...) Toning moves gives your tummy deffenition and builds muscle, and muscle burns fat! Try working out every other day to give your bod a rest inbetween exercises. Check out Girlslife's workout section for more ab workouts! Here's a fave ab-blaster of mine: Get into a push up position. Slowly lift your right knee towards your chest, keeping your left leg stable. bring roght knee back and repeat with left leg. Do as many times as you can while maintaing form. Make sure not to let your belly dip or butt fly up. Good luck, girls! Xx~ Ann

DaNcInGQu33N9812 Try talking to a doc. He should be able to tell ya what the healthy weight range you should be for your height/age. Also, don't take or trust any BMI's online because they don't know how much muscle you have due to sports or whatever.

pinkles8866 Try doing a 30 minute exercise every day or skip the weekends! And try to fit in fruits and veggies in your diet and control your portions. Like for lunch- fold one piece of bread in half with meat+ piece of fruit+ low-fat yogurt= slim you!

heather99 W.O.W.: This is a great upper back exercise as well as one for your core and abs. Choose light dumbbells to start out, so you don't hurt yourself. 1. Start holding a dumbbell in each hand, arms extended and dumbbells on the floor. Only your toes and the dumbbells should be touching the ground. This looks like the top position of a push-up, except that you're holding dumbbells that are on the floor. 2. Keeping your body rigid and straight, lift one of the dumbbells up to your shoulder. Do this by pulling back and up with your upper back and arm to row. Then place the dumbbell back on the ground. Keep your abs rigid to support you when doing this. 3. Then lift up your other hand and row with it. That's 1 repetition. Challenge yourself to do at least 10-15 repetitions a day for the rest of this week! EXTRA CREDIT: During step 2 try to do a push up with one hand!

heather99 WORK OUT OF THE WEEK: Muffin Top Workout... to get rid of that anoying belly fat! Biking, walking, and running are what you have to do... here is more: Start off with a five-minute warm-up at a low-to-moderate intensity to get your blood flowing. Pick up the pace for one minute; the effort required should be about a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10—1 being effortless and 10 being extremely tough. Speed isn’t the only way to boost intensity; try increasing the treadmill incline, running stairs or hopping onto a tough cardio machine like a stair-stepper. heather99 @princesschick1999 I know how you feel! I have a small- ish room too, and sometimes because of this, I don’t really feel like exercising! Try finding a big room such as your basement or living room. The room should be large enough so you can move around so you can stretch and do jumping jacks/ sit ups/ push ups. Soon enough you will be rocking that bikini!
