honeycakes @laniecakes heres a few workouts you can try :) 1. Lie on your back with your arms at your sides, lift your feet off the ground with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle and alternate touching your toes to the ground. 2. Try doing stairs (running up and down the stairs basically) or going for a jog, especially one that includes going uphill! Hope this is helpful to you :)

honeycakes @Nightless I would do this maybe every other day: In the morning-go for a jog around your neighbourhood. In the afternoon-crunches, and other strength training and then more cardio for example jumping jacks, skipping rope etc. In the evening-brisk walk or another activity such as sports, swimming, dancing etc. The key is cardio, as well as healthy eating. Hope that helps! :)

honeycakes @EGJplay you could try making a homemade smoothie! put some of your fave fruits in the blender plus some fruit juice and yogurt, mix it all up and voila! a healthy, filling and yummy snack! try going for jogs to work up your endurance and get fit for cross country, basic cardio and strength training such as skipping rope, push ups, crunches etc. It doesn't need to be complex for it to work!! good luck!

EGJplay I really want to try to get healthy and fit this year. My goal is to try and do cross-country in the fall at school. I have never been really active. My goal for the summer is to become fit. I just started yesterday but I have given up sweets like ice cream. The only suggary thing i had yesterday was chocolate milk. Do you have any ideas on healthy recepies and good workouts? Thanks

honeycakes novalesko-try crunches, or the bicycle(look it up on google bc its hard to explain!), or try doing crunches on an exercise ball... cardio is very helpful bc it burns fat but these are more of strengthening ab workouts!

Quick workouts are like going for a few jogs, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, doing sit-ups and stretches each morning, and dancing around your room to get you blood flowing! Seal17 Honeycakes- there are many ways. One workout is lying on your back and lifting your legs up off the ground and holding for 30 sec to a min then repeat. Sit-ups are good, really anything that works your core. These workouts also help build metabolism!

Princess Keziyah I just did 60 sit-ups and danced around for a little over 20 minutes. I was going for 30 but my side was really hurting. :P Now I'm drinking water. For breakfast, I had oats and more cereal and a bagel (my bagel sandwich had a little cheese on it so I don't know if that's considered cheating. I'm gonna try to go for 100 sit ups by the end of the day. :D

Seal17 Tip: if your going to do a diet or workout plan, one key thing is self decipline. If u are good at diciplining yourself to do homework, chores etc. then u kno it will be eaiser to diet, if your not good then practice on the smaller task to get good!

Seal17 Tip: most of us are able to decide what we eat for lunch. If ur school has a cafeteria, dont always go for your reg PB&J, try the soup of the day or check out the hot lunch! If u pack a lunch, then go to the store with mom and buy some healthy foods!

New_York_City @Smileybai13 Start by doing a little bit of exercise every day. Start out with just 10 mins a day, and work your way up to an hour a day. As for eating healthier, when you crave unhealthy food, drink a glass of water. Or eat fruit, not a sandwich.

New_York_City Tip: If you are craving unhealthy foods, eat something that is healthier but tastes the same. Guaca-Chips and a Lemon Lime Sparkling Ice taste EXACTLY like Doritos and a Sprite. I swear, try it! :-D
