LittleRockstar Hi guys! So I'm starting figure skating next week and I'm so nervous! I'm fourteen and I used to do it when I was younger but do you think I'm to old to start again? I take ballet 5 days a week... please repsond! Thank you!

tikidance354 I'm flexible but when I do my split jump my legs are always really low. Any tips to get an actually split for my split jump? Oh and I have all my splits except my middle, but my middle is really close though (only a few inches from the ground).

Christiangal345 Hey, tikidance354! I am assuming you are working on FS6. Some tips for you would be to try doing the split jump from 3-turn then toe in or do a mowhock then toe in. When you are in the air, point your toes (skates) and turn your legs out. <3 ya!

tikidance354 Thanks! I actually never took USFSA basic skills classes I started in ISI. That helped a lot. My coaches also started working on it more with me because it was in my program. It's a full split now! oh and I'm in Juvenile. Thanks :)
