Life's A Witch by Brittany Geragotelis

1 6

Life's a Witch, the second installment in Brittany Geragotelis' What the Spell series, is not your average teen witch story. Hadley Bishop is the queen bee of her high school; beautiful, popular and with a big personality. Every girl wants to be her, and every boy dreams of having her. However, as perfect as eighteen-year-old Hadley's life may seem, she is hiding one huge secret. Hadley is a descendent of the first woman executed in the Salem Witch trials and now she carries on extraordinary magical abilities.

Hadley's secret is known only by her family and members of her super tight coven. If other witches found out about Hadley's ancestry, both she and her family would be put in grave danger.

The book shifts into high gear when a rival coven resurfaces after centuries of hiding and wages war. Soon, the adults in Hadley’s own coven disappear—even her mom!—and the teens are left to fend for themselves. A natural leader, Hadley takes charge of the young group and makes her mark as a fiercely brave heroine.

While all this trouble is brewing at the home front, keeping her identity hidden becomes increasingly difficult for Hadley. She must separate the craziness in her witch world from her school and social life. (Um, did we mention she still has to do the whole school thing while she saves the world?) She finds herself working double time around everyone else to ensure no one catches on.

Oh, and one more thing: Hadley is falling in L-O-V-E with drop dead gorgeous guy-of-the-moment Asher. When she finds out he has secrets of his own, though, will romance blossom—and will she be able to keep her own history hidden?

Packed with action and intensity, Life's a Witch keeps you on your toes and turning the pages. Check it out now and stay tuned for the rest of the series!
