  4.   DNB Tip 3: Plastic utencils! They are not biodegradable and you can not recylcle them in most places. Get out your metal utencils and eat up-the green way!
  5.   So skip plastic utencils and styrofoam cups, and go with things that you can reuse! Because when you reduce, reuse, and recycle, you can make a difference!

  8.   Do you want an awesome pillow to represent fall in your roo? Well, you can make a SUNFLOWER PILLOW to do just that! And Here is What You'll Need! *½ sheet gold felt *½ sheet brown felt *4-6 cotton balls *Small scrap of red felt *Black craft paint *Paintbrush *Hot glue gun *Pattern How To Make It! 1. Using the pattern cut out 2 large circles from brown felt and the flower from gold felt. Cut out the center circle of the yellow felt flower. 2. Glue one of the brown circles onto the center of the yellow flower. 3. Turn the flower over and glue the other brown circle to the other side, leaving about an inch or so open for the filling. 4. Carefully stuff the center of the flower with cotton balls. 5. Glue open end of the circle shut. 6. Cut an oval from the red felt to make a ladybug. 7. Paint one end of the red felt with black paint to create the head. Use the handle end of the paintbrush to add dots to the ladybug’s back. Let paint dry. 8. Glue ladybug to the flower. There is your sunflower pillow!
  9. Tasty Eats
      Want to rock school in style with your own unique look? Here's how to make a SCARF! You Will Need: * ½ yard fleece fabric * Sewing machine * Thread to match fabric color * Scissors Here's How to Make it: 1. Cut two pieces of fleece equal in length and width. Length will determine how long your scarf will be. 2. Lay the two equal pieces with the right sides (the side that has the pattern on it) facing in each other. 3. Leaving approximately a ¼” seam, sew the full length of the scarf. Repeat on the other side. You will end up with a long tube of fabric with open ends. 4. Using a pair of scissors, cut the fringe by cutting ½” wide slits about 4” up from each end. 5. Turn scarf inside out so that the sewn seams are now on the inside, finished edges are on the outside. 6. Sew a running stitch along the top of the fringe to “close” the ends of the scarf. 7. Trim any loose threads and you are done! You're own scarf that nothing in the stores can top!
  10.   Want to spice up the entrance to your room? You can do this and more with a BEADED CURTAIN for your doorway! You Will Need: * Neon Straws * Yarn * Artificial Flowers (optional) Here's How To Make It: 1. cut the straws into 2" sections and threaded them onto 5' lengths of yarn interspersing flowers at various intervals. 2. You can use novelty beads to hand at the ends of the beaded lines! 3. Repeat for each strand until the full width of your door is covered! 4. Use hooks above the door to hang your beads!

I have a book suggesttion for the book section!
I am currently reading this book and it's called "Peace, Love, and Baby ducks"
here is a short paragraph about wats it about:

Carly wants to be real and she's always counted on her little sister, Anna, to love her and support her-and tell her how right she is. But when Anna turns "hot" over the course of a single summer, everything goes weird. Suddenly, Anna's swimming with the big girls- the plastic perfect pretty girls-while carly is left sitting and watching, feeling hurt. And of course there are boys involved, complicating things as boys always do.

Its a great book by Lauren Myracle!
