hey I have scoliosis and have had a back brace for about 2 months. Do you have any tips on staying cool this summer?

I have had a brace for two years, but recently I have been gettin ReAlLy HoT. I have been using an antiperserant on my back and stomach, but I still am getting really hot. Any suggestions?? Also any ideas for clothes. I only have about 7 or so shirts that hide my brace for summer. I have quite a bit of sweatshirts, but those don't help in the summer. Any ideas?? If someone could answer this that would mean a lt to me!

hey .. so i was recently diagnosed with scoliosis. i need to wear a brace. im terrified. for 2 yrs, and 22 out of 24 hrs a day im going to need to wear it. my doctor said tht if i dont wear it i have an 80% chance of 'needing major surgery' on my back. im so scared. ive been checkin out the articles on GL and girls just keep mentioning their 'degree' lol i have absolutely no idea wat tht means..? is it rlly uncomfortable?? will it show thru all my clothes?? im kinda lost. how old are u? how old were u when u wore a brace?? plz comment on my profile, wtvr help i can get would be appreciated thx so much. xxx. j.

Thanks! I see you have scoliosis too. I also recently learned that the cat/cow stretch is really good for it too. What's your degree? Mine was 32 but thanks to the Chiropractor it's now 15!
