HI! I am a young writer. I like writing short stories. Here is a story I wrote. "The Horse"
There once was a girl named Madelyn. Madelyn was 11 years old. Her parents were divorced and she lived with her mom. She wanted a horse really bad. Madelyn was a country girl. There was a pasture beside her house. Her mother's cows were on the pasture. Madelyn begged her mother to get her a horse. Finally her mother said they would look for a good horse for her to ride. So Madelyn and her mother went to the horse park near their house Their was a horse that the owner beat it and treated it wrongly. Madelyn showed her mother and said," I want to save that horse." So her mother asked the person hurting the horse if it was for sale. The person said," Oh this piece of junk?" " Yeah she is for sale." So Madelyn saved the poor horse. Then Madelyn and her mother went home with their new horse in a horse trailer attached to the truck. When they got home Madelyn immediately started working with her horse she named Princess. Madelyn and Princess were best friend and made much progress together. That night Madelyn dreamed of rscing through fields and past tall mountains on the back of Princess. Then Princess bucked her off. When Madelyn got up in the morning she did not want to work with Princess because of the dream but her mother insisted. Madelyn finally started working with Princess.
