Hey Girl! About ur friend/ ex or whatever you want him to be.. I would make him sweat over it a little bit, but the note thing sound like it was sincere. You could write him back and say someathing like R we cool or R u telling the truth. I would give him a second chance. Dont let him act like nothing ever happened and give him chances to make it up. If he never does anything nice for you now he might not be truthful. Always test the water before you jump in! Like Leroy said check out how his friends are with girls.

kk so... i know ur afraid of being hurt again... but everyone will be dumped in thier lifetime and its kinda expected. Dumping him was the right thing to do... he was treating you badly and you took a stand... now about the him wanting you back dilema... pay attention to how you knew him as a best friend and (if he has had)how he treatd his ex's. Also pay attention to how his friends act around him and other girls. If you know him as the sweet type and his friends as the more player type... then he just could've been influenced by them. On the flip side.... he could have a bad rep for being a player and its always best to stay away from that ;) But all in all do what your gut tells you, just remember... if he does hurt you again (which i hope he doesn't) the third time is not the charm ;)
