My name was Kenna. It still was, of course, but that's who I was in life. I had been sitting on the curb of Fisher Lane, in the pouring rain for the last two hours. Tears ran down my face, and fell, disappearing through the ground. It was freezing cold outside, and I couldn't feel a thing.
Rais had been gone for three hours, at his dad's old house. I had a feeling he wouldn't be back for a while. I had to much to think about when he was gone, and nothing to do and no one to talk to so as to keep everything out of my mind. Therefore, I just started walking. It soon turned into a sprint. I never got tired anymore, not in this world.
I was dead. Rais was dead, too. We had been kidnapped while walking home from school one day. Rais and I walked home every day, accompanied by several other kids. On that one day, though, we had a band rehearsal. He was in band, and so was I. There had been three strange men standing there on the corner of Parkview Way and Harvey Street. They grabbed us, and drugged us. We blacked out. When I woke up, I was floating in the river, and I had expected it to be cold. I never felt a thing.
I swam to the edge, and looked back. There was a dark silhouette on the other side, and my body, turning pale already, face down in the water. I looked at my hands; they glowed a soft silver, and were partially transparent. That was when I met Rais, the figure standing on the other side of the river.
I swam to the water's edge, as he moved closer. He glowed also, and had a transparency about him, too.
"Are you okay?" He pulled me out of the water, and I stood there. I couldn't speak, I couldn't hardly stand. I coughed a bit, and then sank silently to the ground, shaking uncontrollably.
"I... think I saw... my body... floating that way." I pointed to the river. My body was gone, now.
"Yeah. Mine washed up somewhere. The police will find them soon. Your parents are probably wondering where you are." He stood there for a moment, with a cold, hard stare on his face. "I'm Rais, by the way."
"Kenna," I replied. "What happened?" He made no response. He didn't have a clue.
"Come on. We'll find somewhere to sleep." He helped me up, but I couldn't stand on my own. I was shocked. We hurried down the dark street together, searching.

This is random, but how bout:

~a teen girl who thinks she's going through puberty, but she's really changing into _______ (for you to create)

~a kiddnapping at a movie theater

~a guy or girl who dies, but comes back to life and is determined to find out who saved him/her

Those aren't really topics... more of story ideas I came up with. Hope ya find something or other to write about!

Here it is, I guess only I can read more comments since I have the profile. This is what you had written so far. I promise I won't steal it. I don't write ghost stories anyway.



I Know things. i Knew when 9/11 was going to happen. i asked my mother why ppl were dying. i was four. the tv turned on, and showed it. she was scared then. i never told her wat i Knew again.
we pull into the muddy driveway of our new house. it is covered in ivy. it was a grand mansion; now it is a desolate memory.
there is a coldness here. i felt it the minute i stepped through the door.
a little girl died here. no one knew why. not even to this day. everyone left. the pain was too much. or, something else was. i can feel it. my parents didn't tell my brothers and i. i just Know.
there are covers over everything. my brothers and i are given the task of taking them off. in the den, there is a cover over the fireplace, on a painting. i lift it. it is a portrait of the little girl. she seems happy.
we eat dinner. it is 8:30. my brothers go to bed. i go to my new room. it is pink, fuzzy, and warm. but not when i turn off the lights. so, i cover every inch of it with night lights.
midnight. i wake up, and my lights are off. i turn to flip the switch on my lamp, and choke. there is a pale, white figure of a little girl standing beside me.
"you have to get out of here," she says. "seven years. that's all the time you have." she turns to leave, and stops.
"Don't touch the doll." she is gone.
morning. i am jumpy. i stayed awake all night. im shocked im still alive.
i run downstairs, and my brothers are playing in the den. i look at the painting over the fireplace. the little girl's face is different. her expression is urgent, and worried.
under the fireplace, is a little parcel. i pick it up, and open it. inside, there is a little porcelain doll. she is so delicate, and beautiful. she would be a pleasant surprise. except for her blood red eyes.



There ya go! Now you can write away!

I'm sorry if I sound nosy, but I read memory975's comment. If your family doesn't support you, don't let it bring you down. You're a great author with an even greater imagination. You should still write and maybe just talk to them about it.

As for your doll story, I am assuming you are talking about the sample you wrote. It left me hanging and I'd like it if you wrote more.
