Im pretty sure this guy likes you, and you sound like have a pretty storng relationship as friends, which can make it kind of risky to go into the bf/gf zone. Since you like him, show him, by flirting. If he keeps flirting, that meazns he deffintanly likes you.

If you've made the decision to ask him out, I would go for it, but be careful, because if ends up saying no (which im pretty sure he wont), it could be a teensy bit awkward for a little bit. Me and one of my bgfs like eachother, and it was kind of awkward at first, but the awkwardness goes away after a day or two.

Hey! I saw your comment about your not sure whether this guy likes you! usually when he stares at you for a couple of seconds it means that he thinks your pretty. in other words, he likes looking at you. (I know this cause my bf does this) so it looks like he likes you. but get to know him better and flirt and see how it goes! hope this helps!

It sounds to me like he could like you! Keep flirting to see how he reacts, and maybe you should make the move by asking him out. It sounds like the reason he hasn't asked you out is tht he is not sure you like him. With this other girl, he is probably not going out with her by the way you described their reletionship. If you really want to know talk to him see what he has to say.
