Dear Girl’s Life,

One typical day at lunch, I was eating green grapes and sitting right across from my crush. He said a really funny joke, and as I was chewing the green grapes, I laughed and they all flew out of my mouth! He thought I had sneezed and that boogers were all over his shirt, so he started freaking out. My face turned so red and stayed red from embarrassment that people kept asking if I had a fever! Luckily, my crush and I are still friends, even though he still teases me about that incident.

ok...there is this boy who i have been having a crush on for like 5 months.He had a girlfriend but she broke up with him so i asked him out.He didn't say anything and my friend asked him out and he said yes.Does that mean something?Then my BFF Ondrea told me and i felt so sad and heartbroken.He is funny,cool and he's like the popular guy.Im scared to talk to him and we hardly talk to each other any more.He is in another class and he has a twin brother!His brother is in my class and now,im starting to like him.His brother is sweet,nice,smart and we have alot of things in common.Im always shy when Im around the popular twin but im not with the sweet twin.Who should I choose? ***********MOD* One of my best guy friends just told me that his family neglects him that his gaurdians (he was abandoned at the age of 4) are alcholics and that they constantly threaten to beat him and force him to be their slave and that he crys every night in his closet because hes soo scared..no one in his family will take him in so if he calls the child protective services he'll have to move and he says he cant stand that...i dont know what to do!!
is he being abused? and if so... what can i do to help him?

Heeeyy Girlie... **********************MODMODMOD******************* So I'm 12 and almost my whole class has a phone, but my mama refuses to let me have one till I'm a freshman. I would be happy with getting one for my thirteenth bday, but whenever I ask for one, she always has the lame excuse that I'm always glued to her hip and I would only be allowed to text/call her. I always feel bad when I'm at the mall with my friends and I have to use their phones to tell her where I am. And I sometimes kinda get by when I use email (hers) to text, but she always says that I need to get off the computer and ride my bike. Well I'd be able to keep up with texts if I had a phone!! PLEASE HELP

Try to talk to you mom and ask her what it would take for you to get a cell phone. Try to show her that you're responsible by staying on top of chores. Tell your mom you feel embarassed when you always have to borrow other people's phones. Just hang in there, there's alot of other girlies out there who don't have phones at 12.
