All About Me!
  1.   Hey, everyone! Welcome to ClubChristianTeens. This is the place to discuss faith and just teenage life!
  2.   Sister clubs: **CLUB FUN IN THE SUN**, Club Glamourous, christiangirlsgroup, club PEACE GIRL, and CLUB GreenGirl! Check 'em out! Prayer request list: lucky charms' cousin, reeg-a-lene's brother, pretty.odd.patdforever's neighbors, and strawberrysherbert, and
  3.   If you want to join, just leave a comment saying so! I'll try get back to you quickly! I'm a Lutheran (LCMS), but all are welcome, even if you're non-Christian! If you have questions, ask 'em! I'd love to help you out! Ask me anything- from animal rescue, to what style you should wear your hair in!
  4.   Here, just be yourself! God loves us all, however we are made. After all, He made us! The profile will probably be updated every Saturday, but possibly more or less often.
  5.   Also, I am looking for people to fill positions in the club! For now, here's the list of positions available. The applications for all of them are: How often are you on GL? How often do you check your profile? What are your ideas for the club? Why do you want this position? Do you have experience with the work that this type of position will require, and if so, what is it? Any other reasons that you should be given this position?
  6.   Here's the list: Advice Giver-- gives advice!!, VP-- take over for me when I'm gone/do VP-ish things, Contest Creator--- I think you know, Polls and Surveys Designer-- you can guess what this is!, Quiz Creator-- design quizzes and answer people who have posted their answers to the quizzes, Either...Or Gal-- design the either...ors, Creative Chica-- the girl with craft help, Club Authors-- review books/movies/music/ write articles/ poems/ short stories/ etc. Just post your app on the club profile or on my personal profile (defhrhorses) and I'll get back to you on it. Positions will be picked soon, but I'm not sure when.
In A Nutshell...
  1.   "My Faves" is where contests will be!
  2.   In the "Style Sense" is where polls/questions/surveys/quizzes/etc will be!
  3.   In the "Guyville" section, we'll have short stories and articles that don't fit elsewhere! :)
  4.   "Daydreams" is our book/movie/music section.
  5.   "Either... Or" has either...ors!
  6.   "Healthy You" is full of creative things-- crafts, hobbies, etc
Style Sense

  1.   This will be short stories and articles, so if anyone has ideas for this section, or some short stories or articles for me to post here, then please, feel free to send them in to me!!
  2.   AFTER A FEW OF THE USUAL SUNDAY EVENING HYMNS, THE CHURCH'S PASTOR SLOWLY STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO THE PULPIT AND, BEFORE HE GAVE HIS SERMON FOR THE EVENING, HE BRIEFLY INTRODUCED A GUEST MINISTER WHO WAS IN THE SERVICE THAT EVENING. IN THE INTRODUCTION, THE PASTOR TOLD THE CONGREGATION THAT THE GUEST MINISTER WAS ONE OF HIS DEAREST CHILDHOOD FRIENDS AND THAT HE WANTED HIM TO HAVE A FEW MOMENTS TO GREET THE CHURCH AND SHARE WHATEVER HE FELT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE SERVICE. WITH THAT, AN ELDERLY MAN STEPPED UP TO THE PULPIT AND BEGAN TO SPEAK. 'A FATHER, HIS SON, AND A FRIEND OF HIS SON WERE SAILING OFF THE PACIFIC COAST,' HE BEGAN. 'WHEN A FAST APPROACHING STORM BLOCKED ANY ATTEMPT TO GET BACK TO THE SHORE. 'THE WAVES WERE SO HIGH, THAT EVEN THOUGH THE FATHER WAS AN EXPERIENCED SAILOR, HE COULD NOT KEEP THE BOAT UPRIGHT AND THE THREE WERE SWEPT INTO THE OCEAN AS THE BOAT CAPSIZED.' THE OLD MAN HESITATED FOR A MOMENT, MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH TWO TEENAGERS WHO WERE, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE SERVICE BEGAN, LOOKING SOMEWHAT INTERESTED IN HIS STORY. THE AGED MINISTER CONTINUED WITH HIS STORY, 'GRABBING A RESCUE LINE, THE FATHER HAD TO MAKE THE MOST EXCRUCIATING DECISION OF HIS LIFE: TO WHICH BOY WOULD HE THROW THE OTHER END OF THE LIFE LINE. 'HE ONLY HAD SECONDS TO MAKE THE DECISION. 'THE FATHER KNEW THAT HIS SON WAS A CHRISTIAN AND HE, ALSO, KNEW THAT HIS SON'S FRIEND WAS NOT. 'THE AGONY OF HIS DECISION COULD NOT BE MATCHED BY THE TORRENT OF WAVES. 'AS THE FATHER YELLED OUT, 'I LOVE YOU, SON!' HE THREW OUT THE LIFE LINE TO HIS SON'S FRIEND. 'BY THE TIME THE FATHER HAD PULLED THE FRIEND BACK TO THE CAPSIZED BOAT, HIS SON HAD DISAPPEARED BENEATH THE RAGING SWELLS INTO THE BLACK OF NIGHT. HIS BODY WAS NEVER RECOVERED.' BY THIS TIME, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE SITTING UP STRAIGHT IN THE PEW, ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THE NEXT WORDS TO COME OUT OF THE OLD MINISTER'S MOUTH. 'THE FATHER,' HE CONTINUED, 'KNEW HIS SON WOULD STEP INTO ETERNITY WITH JESUS AND HE COULD NOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF HIS SON'S FRIEND STEPPING INTO AN ETERNITY WITHOUT JESUS... THEREFORE, HE SACRIFICED HIS SON TO SAVE THE SON'S FRIEND. 'HOW GREAT IS THE LOVE OF GOD THAT HE SHOULD DO THE SAME FOR US. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SACRIFICED HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WE COULD BE SAVED. I URGE YOU TO ACCEPT HIS OFFER TO RESCUE YOU AND TAKE A HOLD OF THE LIFE LINE HE IS THROWING OUT TO YOU IN THIS SERVICE.' WITH THAT, THE OLD MAN TURNED AND SAT BACK DOWN IN HIS CHAIR AS SILENCE FILLED THE ROOM. THE PASTOR AGAIN WALKED SLOWLY TO THE PULPIT AND DELIVERED A BRIEF SERMON WITH AN INVITATION AT THE END. HOWEVER, NO ONE RESPONDED TO THE APPEAL. WITHIN MINUTES AFTER THE SERVICE ENDED, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE AT THE OLD MAN'S SIDE. 'THAT WAS A NICE STORY,' POLITELY STATED ONE OF THEM,' BUT I DON'T THINK IT WAS VERY REALISTIC FOR A FATHER TO GIVE UP HIS ONLY SON'S LIFE IN HOPES THAT THE OTHER BOY WOULD BECOME A CHRISTIAN.' 'WELL, YOU'VE GOT A POINT THERE,' THE OLD MAN REPLIED, GLANCING DOWN AT HIS WORN BIBLE. A BIG SMILE BROADENED HIS NARROW FACE. HE ONCE AGAIN LOOKED UP AT THE BOYS AND SAID, 'IT SURE ISN'T VERY REALISTIC, IS IT? BUT, I'M STANDING HERE TODAY TO TELL YOU THAT STORY GIVES ME A GLIMPSE OF WHAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN LIKE FOR GOD TO GIVE UP HIS SON FOR ME. YOU SEE...       We'll also have simpler crafts and projects that you can do in a short period of time-- you won't have to learn a whole new skill for these! Until the end of July, I just wanta hear your hobbies! Then for August, I'll choose our hobby of the month!!
  5.   --> Here's our first 'little craft'! Get ready for going back to school! Don't groan! :) Here it is-- a decorated pen or pencil! Get a pen or pencil; some ribbon, string, or yarn; a bottle of glue or double-sided tape; a gluestick- optional; glitter- optional; feathers- optional; and some scissors.
  6.   Wrap the double-sided tape around your pen or pencil, or dab some of the glue on the writing stick; wind the ribbon, string, or yarn around the pen(cil)-- work quickly!-- If you're using the feathers, stick a couple at the top of the pen(cil)- down under the ribbon/string/yarn, so that they stick out the top. If you're using the glitter, you can either sprinkle it over the pencil, if you haven't wound your string so tightly-- that is, if there is glue showing between the strings-- If you have wound tightly, then rub the gluestick over the strings, and sprinkle the glitter all around the pen. Now you have a brand-new pen or pencil for school!! Thanks to club FUN in the SUN for posting a similar idea on your club profile!   7.   Make a beaded bracelet, necklace, or anklet. Just get some fishing line- type material (@ craft stores), and string on beads in pretty colors and designs. Tie off the end, put a dab of glue on the knot, let dry, and show it off! Quick, easy, useful, and gorgeous!!
  8.   Ask me for advice on just about anything! Ask, and I'll get back to you!!

I remember a couple summers ago at my church there was a concert for a gospel singer named Mandisa. She was from American Idol and I absolutely love her song Only the World. She is an amazing Christian Singer and I'm so happy she came to my church. I even got to meet her, take a picture with her, and get a picture signed by her!

hey i have a prayer request to share with you guys. This family in our neighborhood has some teen girls my age. Their mother has really bad lung cancer, her family doesnt have air conditioning anymore cause they can't afford it, and they almost lost their house. The children in a Catholic elementary school were lining up for lunch. At the head of the table there was a large pile of apples. A nun had written, "Take only ONE. God is watching." A BIG SMILE BROADENED HIS NARROW FACE.
HE ONCE AGAIN LOOKED UP AT THE BOYS
AND SAID, 'IT SURE ISN'T VERY REALISTIC, IS IT?
