1. How often are you on GL-Usually, every day, but I will be busy this week. 2. Why do you want to be fitness expert/secetary-I will have good advice on fitness, healthy eating tips, and I will give my opinion on anything. 3. What do you have to add to the club-Being on every day, and answering questions, and giving my advice. 4. Hey I saw your thing about trying to get active/healthy. First of all good for you! Kickboxing is an intense workout I was surprised. Even if you don't have a gym that has classes if you throw punches in the air, jog in place, jumping jacks/rope, kick out. It is really good for you. Plus it's the summer! Swimming is so good for you. GL even has an article with some moves you can do in the pool. Just swimming laps though is really nice. If you are going to start doing cross country though I would suggest you start running every day a little or every other day. It will help prepare you for the longer ones when it actually starts. So maybe start of with a mile run and then finish with some fun crunches(like the ones in that ab workout) or pushups. And then once you get used to the mile pick it up to 2. And so on...for healthy eats obviously fruit and vegetables are a given. To make them more fun to eat try making fruit kabobs(putting your favs on a stick in a certain sequences) or freeze grapes which is one of my personal favorites. Also when you wake up try to make yourself a really nice breakfast. So one morning make yourself scrambled eggs and sneak some veggies in there like spinach and maybe feta cheese. Or you could put onions. I don't really know what you like and don't so I am just throwing out ideas. You can make oatmeal(which I don't like but it's so good for you) and put some berries and honey in it. Or if you really don't have that much time try an english muffin with some butter and some fruit on the side. Or if you want a bagel try whole wheat with peanut butter and bananas. Yogurt with granola is good especially greek yogurt Snack should be small but they are important. You should eat 5_6 times a day(but they all should be small portions). Try some nuts like almonds(super good for you), cashews, pistachios, peanuts, or whatever is your favorite kind. You could also have a granola bar or again fruit or vegetables haha. For meals really just stick to that pyramid that has existed for forever haha. Just make sure it's balanced. Meaning you have a carb, protein, vegetable, and yes fat And you don't need to cut off sugar completely just the really bad kind. Like soda and stuff. But treat yourself everyone once in a while. Like you had a really good week with staying healthy, go out to the movies and get some popcorn and candy. Just don't over do it And of course drink lots of water and just stay hydrated! Hopefully this helps and good luck! Sorry it's so long by the way...
