Tell them that!!!!
tell them that if they were in your situation, that you would be supportive for them.
And if they still aren't
i think it might be time to consider weather these are your true friends. Do they stick with you through thick and thin? My BFF's were there for me through boys/crushes, family probs, and other firend issues. The ones that weren't, i slowly learned to let go.
I'm not saying to ditch them all together, or tell them that if they don't you'll leave.
I'm saying,
watch your back. Make sure they're there to catch you when you fall.

but like i said...i think I said anyway! ^_^...I wouldn't totally dress up just to ask him. but if that's like what you usually wear, go for it! and if that's how you usually wear your makeup (and I guess it is...cuz you said it is...so I believe you), then carry on. ^_^ So yeah. And the reason I keep saying the whole "dress-how-you-usually-do-when-you-ask-him-or-if-your-friends-go-and-ask-and-you'll-be-tagging-along-where-he-might-possibly-see-you-whether-it's-super-likely-or-not" thing...is because you don't want to dress out of the ordinary just for asking him. (sorry if I'm drilling this in too much...I'm trying to...not leave anything out ^_^) Save that for the dance! No matter what, whether he says yes or no, save all that for the dance. And it's not like you're going TO it to ask him. so...yeah...enough about that.

haha just don't let your brain explode from all the overthinking! we can't have that, now can we?? ...hmm...let me think...uhh.. NOPE! 'cause...I mean...I don't know about you...but I don't really want your head to explode...I'm sure your friends wouldn't like me ... if that happened ^_^

not that that would really do anything to me...seeing as I don't know them...and probably don't live very close....to you, but hey you never know, but just don't tell me where you live. cuz anyone can get to that info. (yeah, and I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to know that for yourself ^_^)

I know what you mean.
Last year i had a HUGE crush on a guy, but all my friends were like, "what do you see in him?" and then when i told my bff maddie, she almost fell over laughing!
I think that your friends should respect who you like(so what if you don't have the same taste in guys?). What does it matter what they think? If you really like this guy, then i think you should take a chance. You should tell you BFF's that you really like him, and that they should be supportive for you.
Last week my bff jackie started dating this guy that i don't like at all. He's mean to me, and stuff. BUT i ignore it. She really likes him so i respect her and act nice. This is what your friends should do.

hey..woah...are you thinking about the DANCE itself when you're listing all of these choices for clothing??? I hear sheik and..dress...and...if this is for when you maybe ASK him..then i would totally go for the whole casual look (i'm loving the way the boho ensemble sounds for it ^_^) without major makeup. And if you don't wear a lot of makeup all the time (question that will help me: do you?) then don't just cuz you're asking him.

but if you're talking about...the DANCE itself [which I seriously am thinking that you are...and that I just overthought this as well ^_^ welcome to the club, girly] then...I, personally, really like the French couture (haha I used couture:
[noun. The design and manufacture of fashionable clothes to a client's specific requirements and measurements]...i had to look it up..even though it doesn't really go with this...but apparently gave me an excuse to get off track. whoops! ^_^"

But seriously...don't take my word for it. Why don't you get some girls over/ask your sis/your mom and try on each thing and see what they think you should wear. Or just come straight out and ask them. But if you're really leaning towards one thing to wear to the dance, and everyone says something else, go with what YOU WANT. It don't [excuse my bad grammer...I kinda do that on purpose sometimes ] matter what other people think. THEY don't have to wear it. Only YOU can decide for yourself. They just help. Plus, it's good to have different points of view. But don't dress JUST to impress...although that IS fun...dress to be comfy and cool. and not totally dying.

...that's like a [totally off topic, but] smart thing my mom has told me a lot: If it's not comfortable in the store, it won't be once you get out. So if it's not comfy, don't buy it. But it sounds like everything you have you like. Just choose which one you like best.

wait...so you're saying that you want your friends to ask him for you? okay... so i know that usually that's what some girls leap straight for when it means asking a guy out...and such...but...trust me, guys LOVE it when you ask them. even if they say no. I mean, they may not LOVE it if they don't want you to ask them .....but...like, in a way, they might remember that. If they're any good they'll remember it. And be like, oh, she asked me out and didn't get her friends to do it for her. THAT GIRL HAS COURAGE. not saying you don't if you ask your friends to do it for you. But... I'd say, ask him yourself.

But to answer your question: Will he see you around the corner?? um,, he might think it's a little weird if he sees you hiding out around the corner and your friends are at the door...^_^ I know I would. so if you do that, I suggest you lie low [literally]. And as for the whole thinking-you're-a-stalker thing..uhh...if he's any good, no he won't. If he does...maybe he sees it in a joking way? But in a serious way...does it matter what he thinks? Yes, it seems like it sometimes when you really like someone (^_^ I know) ... but...it really doesn't. and don't worry about what he MIGHT think if you don't KNOW that he's thinking along those lines...

WOW. You thought of his mom answering the door and not letting them talk to him? I would never have thought of it that way... I probably would have thought of either parent answering and saying "oh of course" and if it was the dad, maybe finding it funny or being puzzled...and the mom feeling the same way... But...really...I would never have thought of that. Hmmm...well, maybe I would have, if I ever had reason to. But, see, I don't live in a neighborhood and I can't walk past any of my past crushes' houses on the way home from school. The drive to my home is 30 minutes already! ^_^.

Yes I do agree that disney channel should have someone with disabilities on it as a main character. I mean I know on the Suite Life they had a group of disabled people have a basketball match but that was a one off!

I don't think highly of myself? I'm beautiful, told I'm gorgeous by so many diffrent people, friends, faimily, strangers. I'm smart, an AP and GT child. I'm confident, charming and people tend to trust me immeditialy. I'm one of the best (if not best) writers on my high school's talented staff. I'm a talented artist, darn good at the clarinet, and self-reliante enough to be able to use powertools without harming myself. I am a favorite to just about all of my teachers, and adults love me. I'm well read, have a sharp, witty mind, strong opionons, and faimily and friends who love.

Pfft. I don't see anything to be insecure about so go ahead. =] Keep on throwing that word around. It's not hurting me one bit, because as you can see from my list, I am wonderful in every sense of the word.

Now, if I was the first defintion I would be in your face about it. There's a diffrence between having something on (proudly) display for whoever cares to see and being pushy about it.

Yeah. I can't really say I know how you feel with the whole friends eating meat and teasing you thing because I'm not a vegitarian(sorry no idea how to spell it) but I know how it feels to be teased for being different. All you need to do is next time they do that, just eat what you are eating with your head held high or politley tell them to stop. This always works for me.

My contest entry!

The first time I saw your face my heart stopped beating.


Those ocean blue eyes smiled at me.


I barely smiled back and then you walked over and started talking to me.


We were best friends after that day.


We were inseparable.


Always together,we were the perfect match.


You told me how you felt like you didn't belong.


You would tell me that I was the only one who loved you.


How I was the only one who truly understood you.


I wanted to tell you how I felt about you,but for some reason I stayed in the shadows.


I had been hurt before.

i understand wut ur sayin. im a singer 2 (& ive been told by many ppl that im good) and i understand how it is. the 1 thing that's prob dif. about my voice is that (i can go pretty high) but i feel more compfortable going really low than really high! things r just crazy, however thats wut i guess makes my voice special (in a good way)
