hey girl(: and first for tryouts, try to get more flexable, do stretches like lunges, strattles, and just stretch out ur legs. the judges are also looking for jumps, smiles, tumbling, and tightness. always have sharp moves and dont cock ur wrists. try to get some tumbling down like cartwheels, roundoffs, and backhandsprings/flips.

Hey Girl Cool Profile! I Really need Some Advice,, I Am Totally Falling For This Wonderful Guy He Is So Sweet Funny And Nice, I work with Him,, He is such a nice guy,, And he acts sweet to me and here are the things hes done,,, he has given me hugs but he hugs other girls too,, once when i was working next to him he just Stood There Staring At me And Smiling,,, he Smiles and Waves At me sometimes from a distance,, i did him yesterday,, but he doesn't know me as well as he does other girls and i'm not nearly as outgoing with him as they are and i think he likes it when they are,, this other girl who recently her bf broke up with her i told her i liked him and she is sometimes all over him And Acts flirty even though i told her i like him, and one weekend i got to spend some time with him it was so wonderful! we sat on the couch right beside each other and he played with my ipod and he had a stuffed ladybug he put it in my face just cute flirty stuff like that but my Question is How Should I Make a Move he Will Smile At me I Wanna spend time with him but i'm really shy i wanna run up and give him a hug next time i see him but should i just ask him out or should i flirt with him hug him?? i really need to know how to have confidence he is a little older i'm 18 and he is 22,, So Any Advice Would Be Appreciated thanks Girl!!! Hey Esther!

Ok, I need some guy advice. I like a guy who's a grade below me. My mom and his mom used to work at the same place, so they know each other real well. My mom used to help out at my elementary school when I was there, and every time he saw her there, he would say hi to her, and talk to her and stuff. At our homecoming game this year, (yeah it was a while ago!) I told him who I was, and he acted like he was glad I told him. He hung around for a little while, then went off with his friends. I see him in the hallways, and I either smile at him (he smiles back), or "accidentally" brush his shoulder. I haven't talked to him since the homecoming game! How can I get him to talk to me, or notice me? Or how can I talk to him? Plus, do you think he might like me?

Hey Esther!

It was at our varsity football homecoming game, (yeah, it was a while ago!) and he hung around a little after we talked before he went somewhere else with his friends. I've smiled at him a couple times in the hallway, and he's smiled back. But, I haven't talked to him since the football game, and that's been months! I see him everyday, but I'm still scared to confront him. I've caught him staring at me a few times, but I don't know if he likes me. What can I do to get him to talk to me, or how can I tell if he likes me?

Dear Tomboy808,

It's great that your talking to this boy a lot, communication is definitely key. But just because he hasn't for a couple of days doesn't mean that he isn't still into you, I mean, your great! He might just be really busy, got his phone taken away, or family problems could be keeping him from texting you, but do not freak. Don't text him a lot or obsess over it, he will think your desperate. Just stop the texting for at least a two days. If he hasn't already answered your other ones, then go ahead and try again. Just keep it spaced out so that it is not one continuous line of texts from you. I really don't think that he would lose interest like that, it just doesn't make sense. I hope that nothing bad has happened to him and hope that you keep on talking to him!

Dear Iprothro,

This is a very lucky guy for you to care enough to get him a gift, very thoughtful! Getting gifts for guys is like picking out an outfit, it totally depends on the boy. If he likes football, get him a jacket with his favorite team's name and logo. If he is more of a band type, get him a new piece of sheet music from his favorite band. You must assess his likes and dislikes, but I think he will love any gift you give him. I mean, its you! Smile Also, giving him a gift might send awkward signals. Do you want him to know now that you like him? Because this is a BIG clue! If you don't, then don't get him much, just like a card and some of his favorite candy. If your a bold chica, then totally go for the gold and get him like a stuffed bear holding a cute card. If you are already close friends, then you could get him something like the bear, but if you barely hang out, then you should keep it subtle. If you barely know him, or you don't want him to know you like him, send him an anonymous card and gift. It would be mysterious, you could choose to tell him or not, and he will be wondering about it all day! I think he will love whatever you give him, and if he already doesn't love you, he will definitely think it over! Have a wonderful Valentines Day!!!

Dear TheMentalistgurl,

It's great to have someone wanting to be with you,( I am totally jealous!! Laughing) but if he told you it was just as friends, you need to remind him that it is not a date. Sometimes boys say that they want to go as friends, but they really mean, "I want you to think that we are just friends, but then I am going to make it a date". Don't let him think he can turn it into a date, just politely say, "Um, you really don't have to buy couple tickets since we are only going as FRIENDS". Tell him soon, or he might get heartache. But be really nice, like "Oh, that is very sweet, but ______________(fill in an excuse, like another boyfriend, etc.). You could also say that you can't date, but have a good alibi, like another boyfriend(he can be fake, but make it convincing), or just blame it on your parents(like your parents won't let you date). If anything, do NOT go out with him because you feel sorry for him. If you don't like him from the beginning, it will only hurt him more at the end. I hope I helped!!

If he thinks that your pretty and funny, awesome!!! That means that he put a lot of thought into you. Does your best friend like him too? Because if she doesn't and he knows it, he might just be trying to get you jealous. If he looks at you a lot when he is "flirting" with her, then he is trying to make you jealous. Also, do not go out with him just because everyone says you should. Do what you want to. I think you have a great shot at winning him over, if you haven't already! Smile Try flirting with him just a tad more and drop a few hints about you being available for Valentines day, he will catch on and want to hang out!!!
