Hey, I read your post about sweating. I have the same problem. The prescription that the dermatologist gave me didn't work, so they basically said "oh, we can't do anything else for you, have a nice life!" It's really hard to deal with and sometimes I cry about it. I also will smell sometimes because of it, even though I shower daily and wear deodorant. I am VERY hygienic, but I sweat buckets, even when I'm cold. The dermatologist tells me its "common", but I also get it on my hands and my feet. I know this isn't a very encouraging story, but I do have some tips: 1) Wear deodorant that is scented (I like Degree)-it covers it up if you have a REALLY bad sweating day 2) Bring a sweatshirt to school and if your sweat spots get super bad you can put it on over your shirt, I know it will be hot, but it can help. 3)Try sitting with your arms on your desk so your pits are open to air circulation (works great if you wear a zip-up hoodie so people can't see). 4) Bring deodorant to school and reapply it throughout the day. 5) Try putting on baking soda and leaving it on for a while, then rinsing it off. I'm told its supposed to help, but it didn't work for me. Maybe you'll have better luck. 6) If you have a smelling problem, there's a surgical soap you can use 2 times a week called Betasept. 7) You can stop in the bathroom every one in a while and wipe your armpits with toliet paper-sounds gross I know. You can also get some super-absorbent cloth and hold it on your sweat spot for a little bit, it could help. 8) There are pads you can get to wear in your armpits. I personally don't use them because I think you could see them in anything but a sweater, and in a sweater you can't see sweat marks anyway. Well I hope these tips help. Good luck. I hope it works out for you better than it does for me.
