I read your question about having 2 periods in a month. I don't know if you got a doctor's answer yet or anything, but here's mine. It's known that when you ovulate you may have spotting and maybe it's heavier for you. ovulation happens 2 weeks after the end of your last period. Then 2 weeks later should be your actual period which should be heavier than the ovulation spotting. Thought this would help.

Oh haha that is a little messed up. Oh well just tell her, when I got mine I just went to the bathroom and I noticed it(pulled my pants up) and went out and told her. She got me pads and then showed me where she kept them and then everything was fine. It's better to just tell her and not text her. Good Luck...hopefully you got some pads before I responded to this though because I don't know what I would do if I got mine for the first time and not even have the stuff.

Hey my summer has been really great! What about you? Yes I looked! The mod gave you really good advice. My advice is/ 1.discharge-first of all don't be worried about the different colors becuase I was but it is completely normal. Next you can use a panty liner but to be honest almost every girl has that stuff in her underwear...unless it's really heavy discharge I wouldn't recommend that. If you want to use one I have used Kotex and Always...they are pretty much the same when it comes to liners it's when you are talking about pads and tampons that they differ. 2. When you do actually get it I recommend not going straight into tampons! I didn't start using them till literally like 3 weeks ago and I have had mine for 2 years now. I am not saying you should wait as long as I did but it's nice to start off your first 4 or 5 periods with just pads. I use always pads with the wings. When you do start using tampons...tampax pearl is amazing. So easy for beginners and it's plastic not cardboard. 3. Stories- When I got my first period I was at home on summer vacation and really it's not that big of a deal. It's like what the mod said...you notice it and then you move on with your life. Yes at times I really hate it but most of the time you are just like "Ok make sure I don't forget extra pads or tampons" or whatever. Overall, you seem totally prepared and that is great! Don't be nervous...sometimes it's a relief when you get it because it is like entering "womanhood". The only warning I have is to ALWAYS take an Advil when you get it becuase those cramps can get pretty intense and also remember that they can make you a lot more emotional so just breathe when you feel like you are getting super upset! I'm sorry this is so long but I hoped it helped! GOOD LUCK!

I also think they look at your breasts. And then they do all the normal stuff like ears and that stuff. But if you don't have a girl doctor now I would suggest getting one now! haha! Hey Peyton,

Yes I have it. Don't fret. I have friends who haven't had it yet either. I got mine the summer before 7th grade. I have had it about 2 years. Tips: when having it keep advil or motrin in your bag just in case you get cramps. You may have them now but trust me they can get pretty bad. Always have a pad in your bag even if you haven't started yet. Oh and lastly, don't feel embarrassed when you are at school and are in the bathroom and you are like switching your pad or whatever and you know other people can hear. I used to be like that, but the truth is all girls get it eventually and they know what you are going through. Everyone at my school, even popular girls are nice about it. The truth is, it sucks. You are kind of lucky in a way. But don't worry. You get really used to it. Oh with being moody, before I feel like I am about to break down and cry I just breathe and give myself some time. Hey girl! I got your comments...what is the club about and what names?? Sorry didn't really understand that...haha. Ok, now for the advice...I am not allowed to date either and I can totally understand the position you are in right now. If you don't like the guy who asked you out then don't go out with him! It wouldn't be worth it...especially if you like someone else!Just say that you don't really have feelings for him like that...and you have no idea when you will be allowed to date so you don't think it is a good idea to date. Now with the crush...I had a huge crush for a LONG time...if you still are good friends with him then you should tell him...and he should understand if you have been friends since kindergarten...but if your not friends anymore...don't rush it. I also think if you can't date yet then you shouldn't really ask him if he likes you. Just try to get closer to him while waiting to hear the yes from your parents.
