Well, you could try bangs or more dramatic layers.  Layers work great with wavy hair, bangs require more styling and upkeep.  You could go super-dramatic, and do a shorter look (like shoulder-length) with layers.  For a super-quick change, try parting your hair on the side.  xoxo

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD Plzz HELP!!! 2 Questions. 1) Ok, so I am superr bored with my hair. It is about half way down my back, slightly wavy, thick, and darkk brown. It is cut into slight layers, no bangs, and I have very tan skin naturally, I'm 5ft tall, and have dark brown eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes. What would you suggest? I am open to bangs, layers, perms, highlights. Just about anything. I am in 7th grade and have limited time in the morning to get ready. I'm also willing to curl or straighten it. Pleeeeeaaaase help!!! I am going to my stylist Wed. to get my eyesbrows done with my mom so I will be able to talk with my mom and the stylist then. I really am open to anything so HELP!!! 2) Is there anyway I can wax my eyebrows at home? My mom said she would help me and she would learn how. But is there an at home kit you would suggest? I dont really shape my eyebrows so we wouldn't mess it up in that aspect, I have a unibrow and hate it so I just want to do between. Like I said I am going to my stylist to get my eyebrows done on Wed. so we could ask her then but I really want your opinion also. I reeeeaaallly hate plucking them but I will do that as well between waxes. Please give me a detailed answer on Question #1!!!!!! THANKS MOD!!!!!!

 

1)Hey girl, It's hard to say for sure without seeing ya!  What I would do is flip through all your old mags, and look for pics of 'dos, colors, or styles you like.  Bring them in with you when you have a hair appointment, and ask your stylist if they have suggestions about what would look good.

2)As for at home kits, I don't know of any in particular!  But if you're getting them done on Wednesday, all you really need to do is pluck them after they've been waxed to keep them in good shape.  xoxo

I have been falling asleep at LEAST a half hour earlier.
What's frusterating is I have school the next day and I'm always exahsted.

I love Taylors new album! Especially, better than revenge and last kiss. I really like any music that is upbeat, fast and catchy. I agree with you about Justin Biebers music. I think hes really talented as well, he can play like five or six instruments! (whereas I have troubles playing the recorder- lol) I pretty much enjoy all modern (and not so modern) music except for rap... What kind of things do you liek to do?

MOD MOD MOD Haha. I have a lot of questions. So. every day I have to get up at 6am. But I have a problem. I CANT go to sleep!!!! Ever!!!! I am NEVER asleep before 11:00. And that is at the earliest. It's annoyingg!! my bed time schedual is the same EVERY night: at 8:30 I go up, then read/relax until 9:00. My mom gets really mad at me if I come down after she puts me to bed, but if I cant sleep I lay there trying and trying and trying, bored. It's sooo frusterating because my mom is BIG about bedtime and how I need my sleep and stuff. So a later bedtime to cut down on the whole bored laying there thing is out of the question. What could I do to be able to fall asleep faster? It is just frusterating NEVER being able to sleep!! Any suggestions?? THANKS!!!!!!!!! Hey girl, I do know chicas who had a facebook at that age and it was totally fine, but of course it's only okay if your parents are cool with it.  I think it's a great idea to talk about it with your 'rents as a birthday present.  And the important thing for any age is to make sure you understand and adjust the privacy settings so you can stay safe online.

MOD MOD: Another thing. I want to wear makeup. I'm 12 and in 7th grade and the rest of my friends do. I asked my mom awhile ago and she said no and I was too young and not ready. But I want to. Not cuz my friends do, because i feel I'm ready and want too wear it. Not a lot, just a little mascara, and other eye makeup. What are some ways I can bring it up to my mom and get her to let me? Hey girl, I would just keep talking to her about it.  Suggest you make a compromise, like you said, where you only wear certain products (or only on the weekends).  If you are respectful and mature about it, hopefully she will change her mind!

MOD MOD MOD- Okay so I'm was having a "problem". Every night, around 11:00pm I would get a REALLY bad stomach ache in my lower abdomen. They went away for awhile and then came back. They hurt like crazy and are REALLY annoying. I told my mom and she wasn't sure why.. Why do you think they were happening? Thanks MOD!!!

Hey!! I saw your post about Halloween. So, this year, i went as Lady Gaga. I wore skin colored(or close to it anyway) leotard, tights, and shorts. Then, I pinned clear balloons onto my clothes, put on a suuuper blond wig, and a lace mask. Most of the people i saw that night understood what i was supposed to be, but the most common word I got was "WOW". : ) Good luck on your novel!!

just thaught i would tell u i LOVE your pic it reminds me of the crossing gaurd/police office/DARE teacher at my old school he was awesome everyone knew him and loved him he always got so involved in everything and for haloween he would wear a superman costume under his uniform and have it poking out (just like the squirrle in ur pic) he would wear that cause everyone always thaught of him as superman and i would walk by him everyday twice a day on my way to/from school and he would give me and my lil bro a high five and we all knew him verywell anyway he got cancer and everyone was devistated however so many people set up so many fundraisers for him we had bakesales, walk-a-thons (which i attended), t-shirts(i own every design and was a sponcer for one), wristbands (i wore mine never taking it of from the moment i got it about 5 yrs ago till over the summer when it broke and i lost it in the sea), neclaces/bracelets (i still have the charm on my neclace which i NEVER take off) you name it his family now has so much money all of his hospital bills got payed for however he did die it was tragic but the school dedicated this walkway for him and they have a garden, stained glass stepping stones, and a bench with the superman sign on it by the crosswalk, there is even this diving air tank that Office Pete Lannon (thats his name by the way) had started making into a bell, well his son finnished it after he died and it now hangs at the school and the kids can ring it on their way to school its really sweet we all miss him so much

btw if you want to know some more about this awesome guy google Pete Lannon and their should be an article from the Sun newspaper (or islander)i could never build up the corage to read it untill just recently and well it made me cry correction it made me ball my eyes out but ya please do read it just bare in mind words can never fully describe this man.
