sorry it took me soooooooo long to comment back Smile life's been busy.
But about the shaving...just make sure you go slow so you dont cut...if you do, rinse in cold water...and dont put to much pressure in one area especially around your ankles & other areas where its easy to knick. Put lotion on after shaving. Smile
And if shaving still isnt working out, you can try that Smooth Away thing instead (though i heard it doesnt work)

OHMYGOD i just finished reading Killer....WOW. I wake up at 5:50 every morning for school, and seriously, I went to bed at 1:30 from reading it, it was amazing!!!!!!!! I had one chapter left but I'm glad I didn't finish it last night...the ending is SUSPENSEFUL!! i never would've been able to sleep!!!

Hey chica! you asked me about beain work out buddies! and im just sayin i would love to! im gettin ready for track and cheerleadin compotition and honeslty you couldnt of asked me at a better time! bfore i had all of these crazy things to do my work out plan was Sunday - Rest, Monday - Strength: Crunches:30 , Pushups:30, Stair Steppers:50, and Lundges:20.. Do that in a rotation.. go through the rotation 4 times. Tuesday: Cardio (jog,bike,swim,or do a cardio machine for 30 to 45 min) Wendsday: Strength (see Monday)Thursday: Rest, Saturday: Cardio (do intervals! Sprint for 30 seconds, Then rest for 60.... i still try to fiend time to do all of this but its kinda hard! it may sound kinda hard but honestly it takes no more than 30 min a day and make sure if you do it in the morning you eat something before you go and do whatever the days activity is.. i will make wake up your matabolism and will make you lose even more weight! let me know how this works for you!

I have read all of them so far, and I can't wait for the next one to come out. I love Aria...and Mike haha. I really don't like Spencer though...I think because she reminds me of myself - perfect older sister, and everyone thinks she's amazingly smart but she sometimes doesn't. I just like Aria because her story is a lot more exciting than some. Hannah's story is not as interesting...maybe because I really hate Kate.

hey girly- yeah i was thinking that i don't always have to treat myself with food!!
here's some answers to some of your Q's:
i have just started seeing some results last week. (so lyke week 6-7) it does take a long time. i noticed my arms were a lot more toned and same with my abs. it takes a lot longer than i thought it would, but trust me, if you stick with it, you'll see some major results!!
just because there's only 8 weeks in the healthy you program in the mag, that doesn't mean i'm done with it. i have a fitness journal that helps me stay on track!!
i will get back to a few of ur other questions in a lil bit.

My new year's resolution is to start drinking more water. I know it's AWESOME for you. i'm aiming for 2 bottles a day. I am making a little list of 5 resolutions.
here's what i've got so far:
1)Drink more water!
2) Go to my local indoor track at least once a week, and add a few laps each time i go.
3) Start a reward system. i get one check for eating good and 1 check for excercising that day. after 10 checks of each, i will treat myself!!
4) DO a race or something. Me and my friend might do a triatholon together!!
i havn't come up with a 5th one yet though!!

Hey girl! I am stuggling in the cardio area too, since it's too cold to run outside and stuff. I am finishing up week 8 of the healthy you program....but winter sweets are hard on me. usually we don't have things lyke cookies and candy arond, so there's nothing to grab, but now that it's christmastime, i'm having more treats : (. but oh well. I try to do some cardio every day if i can, along with 10 minutes of jump rope every day to burn off those holiday treats!! Some cardio i do is excercise tapes (it's funny to find your mom's really old ones!!) and i have a wii so i do this fitness coach thing on there sometimes and occasionally do wii fit!

2. I always crush on guys that are way out of my leauge--like celebrities, and fictional characters. And if any celebs that I crush on get a gf, I actually feel like crying, because I like them so much. There is one guy in my class that I really like, but he doesn't compare to my other impossible crushes like celebs. How can I get over this?

3. I have braces and my self esteem is kinda low because of them. I have had them on for 4 years, and I hate them! I brush my teeth very well, and I know that it will all be worth it in the end, but how can I boost my self-esteem a little bit?

Hey Michelle =) Some songs I like to listen to while on the treadmill include: "Burnin' Up"-Jonas Brothers, "Down"-Jay Sean, "Paparazzi"-Lady Gaga, any songs of Demi Lovato, "I Belong To You"-Muse, any Taylor Swift especially "You Belong With Me" =), "Potential Breakup Song"-Aly and AJ, "Rockstar"-Prima J. I am a HUGE Disney fan so any of the old Disney songs like from the Little Mermaid haha. I really like the New Moon soundtrack. If you like the music from the Twilight movie you will like the New Moon one. It's music I normally don't listen to, but the more I listen the more I like it. It took me forever to talk to my crush, like four years. I finally was put into a class with him and we had to sit next to each other...which I didn't mind...so we just started talking. =)paige

Secondly, I have a question. I just bought a moisturizer that has a self-tanner in it. I know that you just have to apply it every day, but any tips so that it turns out good? Thanks sooo much!

MOD MOD MOD I am really worried. So I do the Healthy You Program on GL (great idea btw!) and I have only just started the 1st week, so I am doing 30 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week. Already I have lost like 7 pounds in only a week! I never wanted to loose any weight, I just wanted to become healthier and increase my stamina. This is not a normal weight loss in such a short time, and I know its not. HELP ME!

 

Hey girl! You should see a doc and make sure the weight loss is normal. It could vary with your height and the times you weigh yourself. See how the next week goes and if you're still worried sched an appt. with a doc!
