I'm fair-skinned too, but I just avoid putting on eyeshadow, I feel mascara and sometimes eyeliner is enough for me. Maybe add some sparkle to your gold for a more dramatic look...

Colors you want---->
NEUTRALS / BRONZES
Shimmery beiges, sands, bronzes, and browns are your power colors. They really play up fair skin without overpowering it, and should be staples in your makeup bag.



CHARCOALS/GREYS
To rock out a smoky eye, add some depth and glamour, and add a nice contrast to your skin tone, opt for deep charcoals and pretty greys instead of basic black.



WHITE
A fair skintone is one of the only that can pull off a white eyeshadow. Use it to look more awake or make your eyes look bigger, but be cautioned: a little goes a very long way.



LIGHT GREEN
Try sticking to pastel greens or sage colors for a pretty but subtle dose of color to your eyes. To really play up your skin tone, mix a soft green with charcoal eyeliner, a la Scarlett Johanssen.


PURPLE
Silvery or true medium purples without any pink and only a touch of blue work best.




METALLICS AND SHIMMERS
Metallics and shimmers really help contour and emphasize the prettiness of your skin, especially shimmery pinks and purples. You can also use them as eyeliner for a instant update to tired eyes.

ok well i have really thick, puffy,wavy hair. and its layerd. ive tried every frizz free product and shampoo. i end up straightening it every day and im sick of it!...do u know any products or things i could do to help? thanks!

hey i saw ur comment about the eyeshadow thingy and wanted to tell u that i have the same skin,eye,hair color as u. for me, a coral-ish pink is good for spring and summer and olive greens, teals, and golds are nice 2. i recommend the pearl marbelized eyeshadow from maybelline, i haven't tried it yet but it seems relle good

Hey lady,

I saw your comment about your bag dilemma.

I know it sounds dorky, but I actually got mine from TARGET.

Yeah, Target. Eek, I know.

But believe it or not, Target actually had a really good selection of cool messenger bags that were pretty good quality, cute patterns and fabrics, and super cheap. You can check out stores like WetSeal or local boutiques if you want a pricier bag, but if you're gonna use it for school, I'd get a cheap one 'cause it will prob fall apart sooner or later.
