Hey! I think the best thing you can do to convince your parents is to get your grades up! It sounds to me like they have their minds made up, and just trying to talk to them won't convince them. Yes, this probably means you will have to wait a little while before you can start taking lessons, but it will be worth it. Start to put real effort into your schoolwork. Study hard, do all of your homework, and don't wait until the last minute to start projects. If you show your parents that you are really trying, they will be more likely to let you take lessons. Maybe by the summer you can convince them. It's not that far away! Good luck! If you have any more questions, you can always ask me! <3 Shannon

Hey! That takes only two steps, but might take a while to get started. 1.) Think of what you wanna raise money for or make awareness of. 2.) advertise! Hand out/hang up flyers telling people to donate money to your charity. About two years ago, I did a simple garage sale/bake sale and raised over $400 for the American Cancer Society. It took me about 3 months to prepare things. Also, a lot of people donated things to it. So advertising is obviously KEY! <3, Shelby

Hey girl! A flower theme would be cool! You could buy real flowers to brighten up the place and make it smell fab! Or maybe an animal theme! Super cute! You could get animal plates and make animal cookies! Or a beach theme! Tropical smoothies are a must! xoxo kikidee12

Hey girl! You said you needed advice! What do you need advice on?
kikidee12 on 2/14/2011 11:32:06 AM
Hey! Well, since you said you don't know her parents very well, you should tell your parents, a teacher, a counselor, or any adult who could help her. I know you don't want to feel like you're tattling on her, but you really do need to help her. She may be mad at first, but it's important to help her. Good luck! And if you have any more questions, you can always ask me! <3 Shannon
