Totally! It sounds like this guy really likes you and don't let it set you back that he's siblings with your ex-bff.

As for the friend that sounds really tough to go through! It almost sounds like she was pressured into de-friending you. Sometimes people change and grow apart, and that's okay but it almost sounds like she's trying to change to fit in. In the meantime you should find some new bff's that will stick by your side no matter what! You also shouldn't stop being nice to this girl. Maybe with time she will realize that she misses you. Other wise it probably just wasn't meant to be! I hope things get better! If you need anymore advice you can come to me (no question is wierd, I promise) THX

Well if that was me I would just try being easy with this.I would probably sit down with him and start off easy with the conversation then casually bring up the subject and ask him not to say anything until your finished and if things still aren't the same between you two,try asking a parent or a close bud. Maybe your bf will understand why your concerened.
