I have this friend who Is not a good example and she insulted my family in my Own house and she curses and resorts to violence. She was like that last year too but I didn't realize i would get worse or She would rub off on me. I don't know what to do and I am extremely nice. My friends said to ignore her but that is just too mean, I need help. My mom doesn't quite see the problem with her so she hasn't been of much help. also her locker is right across from mine. What should I do?

Maybe you could talk to her about respecting your family when she comes over, or try to talk to her nicely and say that you don't like when she's unkind to you. She might want attention, so maybe you could try complimenting her on something nice, too! If that doesn't work, you could talk to your mom or guidance counselor about how to best handle the situation.

I have to walk down the isle with my sisters finances brother at their wedding! and I have to dance with him it makes me so NERVOUS because I rarely ever see him and he doesint really talk to me.... he ignores me whatever his prob is maybe I smell weried idk but anyway! im really nervous evn though its next may im still nervous help!

If you are feeling really sad, I would talk to a trusted adult like a parent or guidance counselor about what you're going through. Instead of being sad about not having a boyfriend, try focusing on the relationships you do have, like your family and friends. Take this time to have fun with them and get to know yourself and what you like instead of worrying about guys! As for your brother in law's brother, don't be nervous--even if you don't know each other well, he's practically part of your family!

Okay, so my best friend told me that she smokes weed. I tried to tell her the dangers of it, but she gets really mad at me and said that if she doesn't get support from her friends, she's going back into depression. The thing is, is that her mom's an alcoholic and her parents are on the verge of divorce. She's also an only child who craves attention all the time! I think she's only smoking for attention, but I'm scared! What do I do? It's just weird to hang out with her now. She even left my friends on Canada Day during the fireworks to get high, then came back at the end to come for a sleepover. I feel betrayed. Now what do I do?

ok so I have a big crush on this guy so to start I worked on us being friends first. We talked and texted and he smiled at me all the time and I just fell for him even more. But then later my friend tells me he got a girlfriend!!! I was heartbroken, but still totally liked him. So today we went on a field trip for orchestra, and he's in orchestra with me but his girlfriend isn't so she wasn't there. I spent like all my time with him! If he has a girlfriend, you can't do anything while they're together, even if it seems like he likes you! Would you want him to do that to you if you were his gf? Stay friends for now and if things are meant to be in the future, it could happen if things don't work out with his gf.

I have this best friend and she has betrayed me for her new, popular friends. She acts really different and its all because of a guy she likes and went out with. These new friends are all she EVER talks about and we haven't had a normal conversation in over two months. Now every adult I have talked to about this stuff has said that I am much more mature than everyone else in my grade. (teachers, my mom, etc.) Some of the ways people treat eachother at my age get me really angry, and it frusturates me that they dont see what they're doing. So my friend and I just had a huge fight a couple of days ago and I'm ready to let go of her as a friend. All of this really hurt me because for once in my life I felt like someone cared about me besides my family. But I was wrong. The only problem is that for the whole school year so far, Ive been having a lot of trouble with making new friends. Everybody hates me because I was so unsocial in sixth grade, AND I'm sort of different, AND a girl started a ton of bad rumors about me, like I was lesbian and stuff. I cant be myself without being judged. Now I feel betrayed and alone and I don't want to go back to school because I really don't feel like I belong anywhere. I can't trust anyone anymore. Every time I put my trust in someone, every time I feel loved and secure with that person, they end up treating me like crap. With this girl I finally felt like I had a "Rocky and Cici Relationship", but she left me behind, she really did. I'll never know how I was so stupid and wrong. I just have bad judgement I guess. I really don't know what to do or where to go for help because there is no official counselor at my school. Help me, please....

Okay so when I was back in 8th grade, I went to the 8th grade dance (for graduation) with my best guy friend who I like. I went to his house all dressed up for the dance and our moms were going picture crazy and stuff like that. My friend's mom said "You should send a picture to your dad" so his mom took a picture of us on his phone. I asked him to send it to me because I really liked it so he sent it to me AND his dad at the same time. When his dad replied to it, he must've clicked "Reply all" because I got his response too and it was just a ;) face. Yes, a winky face. And I know he is close to his dad so does that mean my friend likes me? We talk all the time but I moved away but we still talk and he is probably coming up here for winter break. I still really really like him. If he did like me then, is there a possibility he still does??

You might have had a growth spurt, or maybe you've been growing naturally and just never realized it! Either way, it's totally normal to keep growing until you're 18!

Ok, so there is this guy in my class that I really like. He always shot out hints that he liked me ( eye contact, leaning towards me, smiling, playfully nudging, etc. ) I do the same things to him, but after a while he got a girlfriend. But it wasn't me.. He still does some of these things but not gazing into each others eyes and the smiling. I really thought he liked me. Even my friend asked me if he did like me and I never told her I liked him,it was just how we acted towards each other.. Did he like me before? Or maybe does he like me now?

MOD MOD MOD!!! I have been with my boyfriend about 6 months and everything has been great. The problem is now things have been changing and whenever I talk to him or he leaves me a voicemail i'ts always in a depressed tone. I don't want to break up with him and I know it would ruin him if I did, but I don't want to stay with someone who makes me sad now. He wants me to "let him in" and not tell him if one thing is wrong. I have been thinking about this a lot recently and have just been so busy, but he wants to know every little thing going on in my brain. When he asks what is wrong I say nothing I'm just thinking and sorting through things, but he wants to know exactly everything I am sorting through. I understand he wants to be involved and try and help, but what he is doing is just making it all worse. I want a fun relationship, not a serious one where all we do and talk about is revolving around the problems in my busy teenage life. What should I do? MODMODMOD ! Okay so a couple months ago I was asked out by my crush since third grade, who also happens to be the hottest guy at my school. We always talked and texted and he was always saying how I was the best girlfriend he'd ever had, how much he loved me, and he would always be really sweet to me. But a couple days ago he just dumped me out of nowhere, and he told my friend (who is one of his best friends) it was because he didn't want a relationship. I can't get over him, and because we're in the AP program, we have all our classes together. On his instagram he's been posting all these pics of him facetiming and hanging out with girls he used to date, and I feel horrible. How do I get over him? I can't even look at him during class without feeling like crying :/ thanks!!

Oh my gosh, that must hurt a lot - especially when you have to see him every day and he's posting pics with other girls. Believe me, I've so been there. And I know it doesn't seem like it now, but it will get better. You will move on and feel better, and eventually meet a guy who's an even better match (trust me on this one!). In the mean time, you just need to keep yourself occupied. Hang with friends, focus on your after-school activities, and shake things up - try that new hairdo you've always dreamed about or start that hobby you've always wanted to try. I know things will get better - just give it time.
