About your guy, yeah like you said it is a bit of a tough situation because he's like a family friend and such..
I feel like him being a freshman shouldn't affect the situation but him being a family friend makes it a bit more complicated.
But honestly, I feel like down the road if you're SURE he has feelings for you and you're SURE you have feelings for him, you guys should confront your parents about you dating and see if they would respect you two entering a relationship.

Okay, so my crush asked me to prom in my Spanish class.
So basically what happened was I was about to enter the class when I saw my two friends standing outside the door giggling and I kept questioning them about what was going on.
I was really confused because they normally just sit down.
So they told me to go inside and so I did and there was a little gift box on my desk.
I didn't expect it to be for me but I went down and my friend told me to open and so I did and there was bag FULL of candy inside and I was confused because I didn't know who it was from and I looked around the classroom asking everyone if they knew who it was from and everyone just kept giggling.
And so my friend told me to look at the lid and on it there was a note that said Prom?
And I was like Aww, that's so sweet but who's it from?!
So everyone just kept giggling and finally my crush came over to my desk and pulled out a bouquet of roses behind his back and asked me to prom!
I know it was kinda corny haha but I thought it was really sweet that someone would do that for me
And my prom dress, I wish I could send you a link for the dress but it's not on the website anymore
But basically it's like a light turquoise color, it's a high low dress, it has pretty rhinestones on the bodice and then it cinches in at the waist and then is just flowy at the bottom.
It's kinda hard to describe but I really love it, and it's my favorite color!♥
Wow, I think it's really funny how ours birthdays are pretty close and our sisters birthdays are pretty close as well!
Like you said, I feel as if we went to the same school and knew each other, we would be really good friends!
Well, we kinda are friends in a way haha , just in a different way on the internet!

First of all, I think he should have respected the fact that your friend asked him to prom first and if he wanted to go say yes and commit to that.
But just because some senior asked him doesn't mean he should ditch your friend!

Our prom is May 18th by the way!
We still have a little over a month to prepare!
And our field trip that we went on was to the state house (I've been there a billion times!) and to a court house and we went to a cute diner for lunch! The field trip was for my law and society class.

My school actually has a similar program as well but we only have an exchange program with students from China.

Hey girl!
It's no problem that you haven't written in awhile, I understand how overwhelming school can get especially towards the end of the year!
I've been feeling the same!
But I have soooo much to tell you to be honest.
First of all, I'm glad the practice SAT went well! At least you took it a little while in advance so you would have enough time to study for the May 4th SAT!
I hope we both score well on it
And about NHS, I'm not sure if I told you but I did get accepted into it!
Not everyone got accepted into it because they didn't have enough extracurricular activities but the majority of us did which is good!
Also, we had our first meeting on Friday to talk about our Honors ceremony in May and to elect officers which were president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. And guess what!
I got elected to be secretary!
I was sooo happy but shocked as well!
I did not see that one coming haha .
My friend nominated me and then everyone voted and I guess everyone thought I would make a good secretary?
So yeah, I'm pretty happy but it's also a big responsibility and I have to make a speech at Honors night!
I'm pretty nervous because I don't know how many people are going to come!
But anyways,I'm still pretty excited for it, I have a pretty dress I want to wear! <3

Yeah.. it happened.
It was really insane and crazy and sweet and corny and sweet but I was so shocked and loved it!
And apparently like half my friends knew about it too which made it all the more surprising!
Between getting asked to prom by my crush and being elected for secretary of NHS, last Friday just turned out to be the best day ever! <3
So hopefully prom will be really fun with him!
He asked me what the color of my dress was because he wants a matching tie or bow tie so he seems pretty excited haha

My Easter was really good! It was also my sister's birthday so we were mostly celebrating that because none of my family came over for Easter this year unfortunately so we just went to church, my mom made a nice dinner and we just had quality family time <3

I actually left like two minutes before the talent show had ended, so I'm not quite sure if they announced a winner or not but I believe people said they did and it was this really funny kid who's also a junior.

My work is literally TWO MINUTES from where I live, it's in the plaza next to the $2 theater near my house.
It's such an easy job, my coworkers are great, my hours are great, and I got my first paycheck yesterday
So yeah it's been going so well, I'm so thankful for it!
By the way, when does your summer job at the camp start again?

I found out that I actually have to pay the ENTIRE fee for the SAT..
The college adviser at my school who directs the SAT prep program told me that you only qualify for a wavier for the SAT if you receive free or reduced lunch at school and I don't..
But I'm so mad about that though because I think they should offer it to way more people. My family definitely isn't poor but we're definitely not rich so paying $50 to take the test TWICE is not an easy thing to do :'(
Oh well..
How did your SAT practice test go? I hope it went well and it wasn't too stressful!
And yes, I'm proud of making it into the National Honor Society <3 I can't wait for honors night!

And over the weekend, I went to the talent show at my school on Friday which was AMAZING. We literally had so many talented students performed and I was really impressed with it, it was so much fun!
Saturday, my mom, sister, and I went shopping all day. We didn't buy much but we went to the store to pick up my prom dress and shoes off of layaway and we ran a a few errands but it was fun having a mini "Mother daughter day" out!
And Sunday, I just worked on some homework and went to church.

I'm really trying not to and I don't want to seem desperate for one but it sucks when all your friends have dates already and they're the ones telling you not to worry about it.
For me, I'm not really confident so when I see that like most of the girls in my school are getting dates it makes me think that no one even considers me worthy enough of taking or something, but I know I shouldn't think that way.. :/
If no one asks me though, I really just want to ask a close guy friend or something! It shouldn't be that hard, I'll just go up to him during class and ask if he'll want to go with me. Hopefully everything works out.

I completely agree with you about the designated seasons!
I feel like New England is one of the only few places that experiences the reality of each season. We have cool, crisp, beautiful falls, cold and snowy winters, rainy and dewy springs, and hot and beautiful summers<3
And that stinks that you don't find out your results until October.. that's seven months!
But I'm sure if you keep your mind off of it, the time will go by quick and you will do better than you ever expected!
And yes, we're so lucky we get free waivers
I hope they help us sign up soon for the SAT though because the official registration date for the May 4th SAT is April 5th which is in two weeks..

I'm really trying hard not to feel pressured to have a prom date because I know it's the 21st century and a lot of kids go with their friends to prom but it's hard seeing half my group of friends buy these beautiful dresses and have someone that likes them ask them to prom because I feel like their prom experience will be SO much more fun and traditional that way.
Oh well, I guess I'll see how it goes. If in about a month I don't get asked, I'll just go with my friends.

And yes, today was a snowday! Unfortunately. I'm sick of this snow. It's the day before spring and we have an hour delay because of the snow outside!

Sorry I haven't written you back!
I could've sworn I wrote you back but it turns out I never did haha.
But yes, it was snowing here on the weekend. It sucked. But it was funny because by Sunday it had all melted so we can't really complain that much.
And I'm so happy that Daylight Savings Time was on Sunday, I absolutely love when its Daylight Savings Time in the Spring because it gets dark out later at night and we're that much closer to summer<3
It has been so nice and sunny lately, it's putting me in such a great mood!
And I hope you did well on your standardized testing, I'm sure you did!
And yes, the SAT prep after school is free and they give us free snacks after school which is awesome.
Basically all the kids in the AS classes are attending the SAT prep (and to be honest we're probably the kids who need help the least haha) but the program is great and I feel like I'm actually getting the help that I need and I feel more prepared! They're even going to help us register for the SAT and give us a free waiver for the test! I'm SO thankful for the program!<3
And yes, I'm so happy I have my prom dress! Now if I had a date to go along with it..
I feel like my mom wants me to have a date so bad because she thinks my dress is so pretty and it would be weird if I went without a date but she doesn't understand that this is 2013 and you don't NEED a date to go to prom.
As much as I would like one.. I feel like it's not going to happen.. :/
I wish I had the guts to ask someone.
And I went to my interview for Abercrombie on Friday and all went great but unfortunately I did not get the job.
The woman told me she really liked me and my personality and all my answers were great but when I told her my availability schedule she told me that it didn't look promising that I was going to get a lot of hours because the position I was applying for already had like 20 people hired and people working the nights I wanted to work so it didn't look promising..
She told me to apply back in May but to be honest, I might have two job offers next month which I'm really excited about so I hope all goes well and I get the job!

Yeah, friendly's was a lot of fun!
my friend even surprised me by telling our waitress (who was our friend who graduated last year!) that we were celebrating my birthday, and then the whole crew at friendly's came over with our ice cream and sang happy birthday, it was so cute! and i was so surprised haha
aw, that stinks that you don't have one near you. the friendly's we go to is legit across the street from my house, so it's so convenient!
we usually go there or ihop to hang out.

and i definitely agree with you girl, we thought the first half of our junior year was bad, second half is even more stressful.

I had a pretty decent birthday.
i mean, it was a on Tuesday- the beginning of the week, so there wasn't much to look forward to and honestly it wasn't as good as i thought it might be , but i won't complain.
i'm so thankful my family made it went, they always give me sweet presents so i really appreciated that!
my mom and i are going to go out on Saturday all day though so i can go on a shopping spree with all the money i got which should be fun! and then saturday night, i'm going ice skating with my friends which should be fun! i've never been before so im pretty nervous haha
i hope you have fun in your child development classes next year, i know youll do great!
gym for me has actually been pretty fun, you would think itd suck because i have gym everyday but we actually dont.
the way our schedule works is that we have seven classes total but only five classes a day so each day we drop two classes so in reality we only have gym about three days a week which is actually two days a week because on Fridays we have health, so its not bad at all! but we actually do fun activities in gym, like today we did battminton which was really fun!
im glad you like your gym class as well! i knew it wouldnt be as bad as you thought it would ;D
second semester has been going pretty well so far, it just started but i have high hopes for this semester because first semester went well!
they said they mail out report cards today, so we should be expecting to get them on like friday or monday! im pretty excietd though because i honestly think i got straight A's thsi semester which im super excietd about, because i havent done that since freshman year and i know how important your junior year is!
but good job girlie in chem, im super proud of you- you didn't let your grade drop when the semester ended, you knew you could pull through!
and i know, ive been dreading and dreading making this final decision about softball, and to make matters worse we found out that softball signups are going to be next week, so that made me more nervous!
but i honestly think im just gonna do outdoor track this year. my friend said that if i honestly wanted to do softball i wouldn't be contemplating it that much,which is a good point so hopefully i made the right decision! i hope outdoor goes well!
and yes, you should definitely watch pitch perfect all over again, its a GREAT movie!
I definitely agree with you that it is ironic that january was a start of a new year but also had many endings like sports, TV shows perhaps, and other things haha
I wasn't too big into the Superbowl this year since the patriots didnt make it, but my dad and i were hoping that the 49s won as well, but im not too bummed that the ravens took it its not like the patriots beat them haha

I hope you have fun in Child Development next year!
It will probably be a lot of fun for you because you seemed to really like the class this year
Two of my friends are in the Child Development class this year but it's a full year class rather than a semester. They also had to fulfill a project (which was their CCA-common course assessment) in which they had to bring a baby doll (But you know, those like $800 robotic babies) home and they had to take care of it the whole weekend!
I felt so bad for them, they said it was awful!
The baby would always cry when they were in the shower or sleeping and they had to take the baby everywhere with them!
I hope you don't have to do that haha
I know, I'm not really looking forward to gym this new semester.
Our new semester starts tomorrow by the way
But I'm not really minding it as much anymore because I have the best gym teacher, who I had last year and she is so chill and laid back we hardly do anything in gym And also one of my best friends just switched into my gym class so it should be more exciting now!

My weekend was actually really busy!
On Saturday, I had to wake up early because we had our last track meet which went well, then I went shopping with my mom at the mall because we wanted to start looking at some prom dresses this weekend It's sort of early but it's good to get a head start, I found some really gorgeous ones so I'm excited to find the perfect one<3

On Sunday, I volunteered at my church because there was a retreat for the children in grades 1-6 so we helped out with the different activities and snacks and such, it was so much fun I love little kids!<3
They were super loud but it was funny because there was like three different rounds of activities and so the first time I had this large group of second graders and they just like completely took control, I had to tell them what the activity was and as soon as I go there they already started eating everything! And they were super loud haha
But the second group, I had a smaller group of third grade girls who acted quite mature for their age which was funny they were pretty quiet.
And the third group was definitely a bit older, I would say they were in 5th or 6th grade, you could tell because they were a bit wiser.
But yeah, that was fun and then I hung out with my friend and just went to my CCD class.
Your weekend sounded like a bunch of fun!
Too bad you didn't get to finish Pitch Perfect though- it's such a great movie! Look for it at RedBox or on Netflix because it's soo hilarious
And my track meet from that Monday, went very well thanks for asking! We beat the team we had to (:
Track is officially over now which actually makes me kind of sad because now I only have one full season left of indoor track.
The end of the season made me realize how much I actually enjoy and appreciate track.
Lately I've been really contemplating whether to do softball again this year or to join outdoor track. I'm not sure if the varsity softball team at my school is right for me because it's extremely competitive and I get stressed out pretty easily, so it might be a lot less stressful ad more fun for me to do outdoor track! But hopefully I make my decision soon
And midterms for me actually went pretty well! I have a good feeling that I might actually get straight A's this semester and I'm really excited about that because I haven't gotten straight A's since freshman year! I've worked really hard this semester because I know important your junior year is so I hope it pays off
I'm so glad exams are over! My friends and I actually went to iHop today instead of Friday but it was so much fun
We got out at 9:30 today because there was H period exam and a period for making up an exam but none of my friends had to make up an exam so we just left at 9:30! And I didn't even have an exam during H period so it was a good day haha

that feels so weird to say , i feel like 2012 just flew by but in all honesty, 2012 was such a great year-i hope it was for you too! and I really hope 2013 can be just as great as well
I don't like being back at school now, especially since it's January because we literally only have one day off this month and that day I have a track meet which sucks.. And we have finals at the end of them month which suck even more .. :'(

I had a nice Christmas as well<3 It was well spent with family and friends and I couldn't have asked for anything better.
On Christmas Eve, I went out to breakfast with my family and then went to my aunt's house for a party at night and then on Christmas day I went to Boston to visit my aunt and my grandpa and it was actually really nice! We had a lovely dinner and it was nice seeing family we don't see too often<3
I hope you're having fun with your aunt from D.C., it must be nice to have her around for a bit
I know, it's so sad if you think about it this break is almost over :'(
I feel like since Christmas was on a Tuesday this year, it just made the winter break seem shorter because the holiday was during the week, which was weird. But I've had a pleasant vacation so far, and I'm not dreading to go back to school just not looking forward to it haha
Aw, that New Years' Eve party sounds nice! I'm so jealous, I've always wanted to go to a party on New Years' Eve but I've never been to one.. :'(
My parents are homebodies and can hardly stay up past twelve haha so we usually just stay in and watch all the New Years specials on t.v.
But this year I didn't want it to be as boring so I'm having like 5 of my friends sleepover which should be nice<3

No, unfortunately my cousin didn't get the opportunity to meet her. That would've been so awesome if she did though!
And we had a great time at Winter Wonderland
My cousin seemed like he liked it, he went on the carousel once and ate popcorn and soda haha so that's good .
The trees and lights were so pretty!
yeah, target is so cool. it just seems different than most other stores like walmart and kmart and they actually have an assortment of cute clothes in the girls' department.
yeah, it seems like everyone has an iPhone, but oh well hopefully sooner or later that'll all blow over and a cheaper more affordable cool phone will be the new thing.

Yeah, I hope we stick to our plans and go to New York for Christmas. I haven't been there in so long and it would be so nice getting to see both of my grandfathers again and everyone I haven't seen in years. Probably the whole car ride to New York I'll either be sleeping, reading my seventeen magazine, or listening to justin bieber, 1D, or t-swift on my iPod<3

my law and society teacher was very sick with it and he all blamed us for getting him sick haha

surprisingly, this week was actually pretty easy for me. like three days i didn't have any homework at all, which was a really weird thing but i'm not complaining
i feel like next week is going to be super long though!
on Monday, i have a history exam and spanish task (also known as common course assessment; they're very important at my school they go into our portfolio which we have to present at the end of our senior year to graduate.) Wednesday I have a chemistry test and algebra task as well.

tomorrow, i'm volunteering tomorrow morning. then hopefully i'm going running with some of my friends and/or Christmas shopping for my friend. and then at seven o clock i'm going to my sister's play of the Christmas Carol<3

Oh my gosh, before I go - I'm sure you have but have you heard about the elementary school shooting in Connecticut? Did you know that elementary school or anyone affected by perhaps?
That is so sad and so tragic. I can't even imagine what those teachers and families are going through and what it must be like for them right now. Why would anyone in their right mind enter an elementary school and start shooting children ages 5-10? That's just insane and no one, no one deserves anything like that. My heart goes out to them, I can only imagine what everyone in that town must be feeling right now.

Thanks 4 the advice. I was able to ditch the ones that didn't appreciate me and get back to hanging out with the people I know and love. I'm not afraid to wear my nose piercing, or listen to heavy metal and dubstep in public anymore. Thanks. Merry early Christmas! (Even though I'm Jewish)

Yeah, I think it's definitely a problem with the site because sometimes my messages don't post either but it seems like it's getting worse every time you send me a message.
If I were you , I would email someone to contact about the website or I would send a message to a MOD , explaining what is going on and what to do about it. It's kind of getting out of hand now!

Yeah, same way Connecticut is known for UCONN, Rhode Island is basically known for Brown, haha. I guess also the fact that Emma Watson went to Brown for a little while too.
But oh my gosh, did you hear all the stories of what happened when she was there? About she was sort of rude , and people didn't like her..
Yeah, Austin Mahone is a great singer I'm not as much of a fan of him now as I was like a year ago, because I like the old Austin. Obviously he's gained a lot of fame in the past year, but last year he used to post a video pretty frequently , even if it was a video saying what he's been up to. Now the only videos he posts are meet and greets or concerts he's done, and to me that is kinda boring because we all know him for doing these great covers and I miss that! Oh well, hopefully he has a nice performance at Taylor's concert in the summer.
And yes, Ed Sheeran sings the A team (: If you like that song, I think you'll like most of his other songs. Look him up on youtube sometime!
Aww, those Christmas events sound so fun in your town Since you live on the main street in your town, it sounds like there's a lot of fun things to do during the holiday season!
In my town, since I live across the street from the park that EVERYONE in my town goes to , whether it's for sports, the playground, the petting zoo, animal shelter, or whatever it may be, a popular thing to do during the month of December is visit the Winter Wonderland that they set up each year. It's so beautiful ,and I love going there every year! And every year, they set it up on the first Saturday of the month, which was obviously yesterday and they have this nice parade with the mayor there, and Santa, and local school choirs, and a bunch of activities for the little kids in the carousel. And all through out the park they have these beautiful trees and houses (which are basically tiny hours that look like business of the sponsors of Winter Wonderland; for example if Dominoes is a sponsor, they would have a Dominoes store there, it's so cute!) displayed. I love it<3
I didn't get to go this weekend because i was pretty busy, but next weekend my family is coming down on Sunday and we're finally gonna take them. Each year, they come down during the month of December and we do a little gift exchange between all of us and have a lot of fun and my family and I always try to take them to the Winter Wonderland display but something always happens. Like I forget what happened last year, but the previous year it was pouring so we couldn't go haha
Hopefully this year will be a success!
Other than that, this weekend I went Christmas shopping all day with my mom on Saturday which was a bunch of fun. Saturday night, five of my friends came over and we had a mini marathon of Twilight Saga movies. One of my friends wanted to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2 but we all told her to watch the first four to get an understanding of what the series is about before she watches the last one. Sot hey decided to all come over my house and watch them, it was lot of fun<3
Then today was more of a chill day because I have quite a bit of homework but tonight I have my ccd class for Confirmation.
I hope you're having fun at your sister's skate competition!
I can't wait for next weekend though because we have our first track meet on Saturday and then my family is coming over on Sunday<3
And also, hopefully i will have all of my Christmas shopping done before then. I still haven't got my mom's gift!

It felt weird because we hadn't had a full week of school in a super long time, so it seemed like the week dragged on.
But we need to survive three more full weeks of school before we can get to Christmas break!<3 We can do it
And I know what you mean, I really wish I had an iPhone too but it's not really the cost of the phone that's bad, but we can't afford to pay date for it every month, so that's basically why I can't get an iPhone or any smart phone. Oh well, at least we both have regular phones haha
It's just sucks seeing like all of your friends or everyone at school with one and you have this old phone.
But nonetheless, I'm sure you'll get some amazing Christmas gifts

I need help! I'm afraid to be myself in school. I'm bullied because I have ADD and Clinical Depression. I'm pressured too much and that's what lead to my depression.
