As for your hair,

You could try mousse (i like herbal eccences and garnier) and scrunch it into your hair while your hair is damp. That works on alot of hair types. Also, if you have the time, you could buy hot curlers for your hair. They take longer though

If you want wavy hair you could always braid your hair before bed and sleep in braids sometimes it helps if your hair is wet like after a bath or a shower, hope this helps.

Maybe you could get out there and audition for something or when you get to college, you could take classes for those interests.
