Thanks for the advice, but I need some more he is usually hanging out with his friends and I don't know when we can hang out, we don't go to the same school(I'm homeschooled) and I don't want his friends to know, plus my ankle is fractured right now so I can't move around a lot and he is usually walking around the neighborhood. And yes, we do live pretty close.

hey meghan i ended u asking him out on my own free will anyways so today i asked my bffl to ask him out for me and she did well i caught up with her to ask er what he said she said he didnt reply but smiled and turned around so idk what to do im gonna keep quiet and wait for her to ask him tomorrow why he didnt reply and what his answer was so idk what to do i cant talk tto him about i get shy talking about who i like with certain people or asking people out so idk what do you think i should oh and thanks for earlier!!!!!!!

Ok so i have 2 Qs. the first is; I really like this guy and I asked him out on facebook last year and he said no. I can't tell my friends coz they think he's a total loser. the second is, everyone in my family is really tall and for the most part thin but then there's me: 5ft6 1/2 and not at all thin. I'm near the bottom of the BMI thing but I'd really like to be thinner- especially around my middle and thighs. PLEASE HELP!!

If he said no, it might be time to scope out a new cutie, so why not talk to that shy guy in your class or ask that smartie in your math class for some pointers? As for your weight, don't compare yourself to your family -- while a lot of BMI depends on genetics, there's plenty of stuff that individuals can do to help (or hurt) their BMIs. If you're near the bottom, don't worry as long as you're in the healthy range! Focus more on eating right and staying fit than being a certain size. A cute top and fun skirt would be great, or a casual dress! If you don't want to do that, skinnies and a cute top would also work. And flats are a comfortable and easy alternative to dressy shoes!

I need help! My mom doesnt my friend so i stopped being her bffl and now shes really dif i try talking to her and she talks but she never startsa conversation. Plus i was talking to my friend and about her so yea i was talking behind her back and she got mad at me when she was talking about me behind my back!! And she says its wrong to listen to my moms opinion. Id, if i should be friends i was gonna but then todayhappened so i didnt. You're right to not want to be friends with someone who talks about you behind your back, but that doesn't make it okay to gossip about her, either! Even if you're not friends, gossip never ends well for anyone involved. I'm glad you still want to listen to your mom, though, and you're right to be wary of friends who want you to go against your parents. And instead of making fun of her for getting bad grades, why not offer to study with her next time? That way you're hanging out as friends in a way that won't upset your mom, and you'll help her do better. No one wants to be made fun of, and she might care about grades a lot more than you realize, so cut her some slack!

It's okay to have feelings that you can't explain or that surprise you -- you can't control how you feel! It's normal to have different feelings and want to explore different things, especially when you're young -- there's no one definition of normal, so don't think there's anything wrong with you, because there definitely is not! If you want to become friends with her and then see what happens, just go from there! You don't have to decide anything yet, and being friends will let you get to know each other in a casual context.

I like this guy, lets call him A, and he is my bgf. We flirt/talk alot. Oneday, a kid from my clas sswas missing, so i asked if i could go look for them, A was standing right behind me and said, ill be her body gaur djust incase she gets lost! My teach said no. Then A put his arm around me and said that he could trust us. So we walked out and just stood there, A was about to say sumthing, but then my friend came out. It sounds like he might like you, but you don't want to get in trouble at school because of it, so keep the hanging out and PDA within your school's rules! If you keep hanging out and think he might say something to you, then why not keep spending time with him since you're friends anyway? But if you think he likes you and want to go for it now, you can tell him you like him and see what happens -- he might say he likes you back!

i have a friend who is always critisizing me and making me feel bad about myself. she always does what she wants, and my opinions don't matter. i have to like what she likes and hate what she hates or we get into an arguement ... and I'm the one who has to apologize! I don't always hang out with her. She's like ... one of my secondary besties. i want her to be my friend still, but i dont like what she's doing. If she makes you feel bad about yourself, maybe you should rethink why you're friends in the first place! Friends are supposed to build each other up, not tear each other down. If you've tried to talk to her about how you feel and she won't listen, it may be time to bring in a trusted adult. Explain the situation to a parent, teacher or guidance counselor who knows both of you -- they'll help you work things out!

Hey girl about telling your crush or asking him out i would hold that drama for a little longer . First get to know him first with the little you know he could be a jerk! Maybe if you both have a phone you can text him a little thats what i do to my crush and now he's my bgf! It can work for girls to ask guys out depending on the circumstance, but it's totally fine to wait for a guy to ask you out, too! If you want to tell your crush you like him and make your dream real, go for it! But the good thing about dreams is that they aren't real, so if you're not sure if you like him, it's okay to wait!

Hey I saw your post about the fishtail.
The way you do it is divide the hair into two sections, then take a little piece from section A and put it in section B and then take a piece from section B and put it in section A. Repeat and there you go! Hope I helped!

My parents know ALL ABOUT my sis being favored, they denied it, again. And she does no chores, I do all mine AND hers. And yeah, I told her, she laughed and said she's gonna try to make the rest of my life miserable until she goes to college (she's in 8th grade now) And no, all of my grandparents are dead, but my breathing Grandpa lives all the way in WI, and I live in NJ. And also, if I even try to say something about my dad breaking me+my bf up to my mom (not that I'd try to say anything more then once) she'd be in her "I don't want to hear it" moods as soon as I start to say something, I'm sick of this.

I told my mom but she said I was fine and the guidance counselor kinda is creepy and I really don't trust other people (that I see at school daily) to know about the stress, the stress and depression-like feeling were actually caused by my dad, he broke me up with my boyfriend......my first boyfriend. He (my bf) was the only boy I ever met that didn't laugh at me or called me names or bullied me. He loved me and I loved him, but my dad always favors my older sister, the perfect daughter. Not a single flaw in her body!

Are there other trusted adults in your life (maybe a grandparent, aunt, older sis or cousin) that you can talk to? And have you told your mom that you're feeling hurt because of your dad? She might be more interested if she knows the specific problem and that it's related to your family. As for your sister, does she know how you feel? Sibling rivalry is tough, but sometimes the "better" sib doesn't even know the other is hurting, so tell her how you feel, and ask how she stays in your parents' good graces -- does she do extra chores or help cook? Helping your fam will make you and them feel better!

MOD! Ok, like for some reason I always feel light-headed and you know how you see blotches of color after looking directly into light? Well that happens except they look like a combo of shooting-stars and fireworks. It for some reason ONLY happens right in the beginning of gym class, like right before we start our daily 5 running 1 walking laps around the gym and my teacher would see it as an excuse to get out of class. Plus I've been extremely stressed with a depressed-like feeling for about 7 months, what wrong with me?
