It does sound like he might like you from what you said I think you should try to find out if this other girl is his girlfriend ( maybe look at his facebook status if he has one ) or not. If she isn't, or not yet anyway, you should totally go for it! Start talking to him more, ask for help on homework and stuff like that and you'll eventually get to know each other better and figure out whether you want to ask him out
And even if he IS dating her, there is no reason why you couldn't be friends with him anyway! You'll just have to go with the flow and wait until he's free again. In the meantime get to know him and you might even become awesome friends

Hey thanks so much for responding...aw I'm sorry, yeah it's terrible when you think you know someone and you spend so much time thinking about them and stuff just to realize you don't really know them at all and were totally wrong :-( But your situation almost sounds worse since you used to go out with him. heyy im just answering your one question about what to do during the day since you cant go any where. i have the same problem. i have a couple friends that live in walking distance so i can do stuff with them. but if im alone i find things around the house to do. such as making jewlery, cooking,going for bike rides and reading. might sound lame but it actually makes time fly until my parents get home to take me places.

That's kinda a tough problem because you don't even know why he isn't talking to you!

So, anyways, if you can, just don't talk to him but don't ignore him. When he is ready, he will talk to you. But, if he doesn't, ask one of his friends why he is ignoring you. They probably would know. But, if they don't know, you could just ask him! Thats what I would do.

I understand your problem and here's some advice...

First of all, you could have your best friend ask him if he still has feelings for you, or if you have to courage, you could go up and ask him your self. But, if you don't, just grab a buddy and go up and ask him together.

You could also try asking one of the guys friends. But, don't believe every thing they say because they could just be making it all up and not telling you what you want to know.

Don't try flirting with him because he doesn't like as I can tell from what you told me. Maybe he just wants to be friends. But, if you are friends, then you will see him and hang out more. Then, maybe he will ask you out again. So DON'T flirt. LOL

I have a question... What were the reasons why you too broke up? Because if you give me the reasons I would probably be able to give you a lot more advice because I will know the WHOLE story!
