I just got done tanning. Don't worry, I used SPF 50! My summer's been good. I played a lot of tennis, read a lot of books, went to Michigan to visit family, volunteered at my local animal shelter, went to the fair with my friends, and made up with an old friend. Pretty active summer, but also low key.

wow. it sounds like yall are really good. and as for our coach quitting, i have no idea why she did. she just stopped calling us and stopped showing up for games and practices. and then our assistent coach wasnt so assistent if you know what i mean. she was probably worse than the real coach. one time for one game i was driving me and my friend out to the fields. (we would take turns driving each game bc its like a 30 minute drive from where we live to the softball fields.) so i was driving and we get there and we dont see any of our players out there, no where. so we waited in the car for about 5 minutes and i texted the asssistent coach and asked her where everybody was. she said that we wasnt playing that night bc the other team had to forfit that morning bc they didnt have enough players. she asked us if we were already out there at the fields. i said yeah and all she had to say was "sorry, i thought some of the other girls would have texted one of you and told you." i said "well they didnt and they shouldnt have to considering that your the assistent coach and its your job to let us know these kind of things" so we went home  that wasted over an hour of our time just driving out there and back plus all of that gas. so for the next game me and my friend decide that were not gonna go and play and were not gonna tell anyone that were not showing up. when they see us after that game they were mad at us for not showing up and not letting anyone know and all i had to say about it was "what makes you think that i should call you and let you know when i cant make it to something but you cant call me when somethings been cancled knowing that im still gonna show up?" they didnt really have anything else to say to me after that. so even though i loved playing softball its probably a good thing that we didnt play this year bc i dont think anyone wanted a relaps of last year.

yeah the balls are really hard. and i hate playing late games bc for some reason they use the white balls for the late games and the bright green balls when its still light out. they need to switch it bc when its dark i sure cant see them white balls. lol. but anyways, i hope it quits bleeding soon. that doesnt sound good at all. i wish we played this year but after last year its probably a good thing that we didnt play considering that our coach quit after like the 3rd game so the guys coach and some of their players had to coach us which was way more fun but they couldnt always be there bc they're games and practices would almost always fall on the same days as ours. so that didnt work out too well. maybe next year we can find a coach that actually cares enough to stick around for more than 3 games.

omg im sorry that happened. last year when i played softball i was pitching and our best hitter gets up there and hits the ball straight at me. lets just say that i refused to pitch anymore after that. lol. it wasnt good. but i hope you start feeling better soon. Smile
