MOD MOD MOD!!!! i have really good friends but i fell like they never invite me 2 things. they like to spend a lot of money when they hang out, such as going 2 the mall, going to concerts or going 2 water parks. when i hang out with them, i just invite them to my house or go 2 the pool down the street. i'm really careful about spending money and my friends just don't get that. its not that i don't have money-i do, but i like 2 spend it on things i need and my parents r the same. because of this, i think im drifting away from my friends. got any advice???

Hey girl, that's totally understandable and so I think you should first try to send subtle hints and invite those friends to do inexpensive activities more frequently. If they don't get the message, just tell them straight out. You have nothing to be embarrassed about because you prefer to spend money wisely. And if they won't budge, then say you'll hang out with them once a week and chill with other friends at your house and theirs the rest of the time. Best, Miliana

MOD MOD MOD! i have a pimple problem and i wash my face and put moisturizer on my face and i use concealer that is supposed to heal the pimple and i have used Clearasil and Proactive and ZapZyt but it hasn't worked at all! i also have tried all the home remedies it doesn't work and i tried not to touch my face either but it doesn't work! how do i get rid of pimples without a dermatologist. and are a lot a pimples normal for an 11 year old girl? please help!

Hey girl! Yeah, pimple probs are pretty normal. If none of those are working though, you might trying see a derm. They can tell you more about your specific condition and how to solve your prob!

Ok well,I met this guy over the summer, and I really like him. He goes to the same school as me but he is a grade ahead of me. We got along perfect during the summer, and we flirted A LOT!!!! But, the other day I walked by him and he didn't even say hi. He was with his friends. But I saw him look at me. i hav a little situation: my friend is a BIG bragger. she brags about her grades, guys, her looks, and just about everything! most of the time i try to ignore it but sometimes it goes too far. in a recent example, last week i went dress shopping w/ her for homecoming. we were looking at the dresses then i found one that i really liked i thought it would look nice on her so i showed it to her. she said tht it was alright but not tht nice but she brought tht dress in the end anyways. the next day in school she was telling everyone tht she had found the perfect dress for herself nd tht it looked beautiful nd how she was happy tht she found it all by herself. nd she was showing one of our friends a pic of her wearing it "dont i look beautiful? im sooo glad i got this dress! arent i soo smart!" she said. you get the picture. i felt really bad tht she took credit for what i did nd i felt annoyed by how she ALWAYS brags about her grades nd looks. (shes a good student but not amazingly beautiful as she says) wat can i do about this constant bragging? (im sorry this is a long message!) id appreciate some advice plz!

I know the feeling, girl, and I think some girls love to talk about themselves because if they're so busy doing that they don't have time to stop and think that maybe everything isn't perfect, ya know? Take what she says with a grain of salt and just don't take her so seriously. She's not changing anytime soon but you can learn to ignore it and hang with other friends too. Best, Miliana

Hey girl, long distance relationships are tough, even if it's not that far of a distance. Youre not being clingy but def tell him how you feel about this distance. And the scary farm sounds like a good start. Over break, you could maybe head to an indoor ice skating rink or just chill and watch movies together. If theyre both your friends, then def try to understand that the second girl prob realizes you don't see her as a BFF and wants to get closer to you. If she annoys you, don't get mad at her and tell her. You can politely say that you have something to tell this friend and you'll tell the other friend later! Well there are some classic Halloween games you can play, like bobbing for apples, some games with candy as prizes, or maybe making a fun Halloween treat together. Games like Would You Rather or Spin the Bottle Truth or Dare are also favorites. For decorations, go for orange and black around the house and maybe some pumpkins but there's no need to go decoration crazy! And Im actually not a huge fan of scary movies so Im prob not a good judge of that but one I enjoyed was Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy. A li'l spook without too many screams. Hey girl, Im sure youre curious but the thing is, I just don't think youre ready to make that step in your relationship. Youre young and if youre unsure about taking off your clothes, then that's even more evidence that it's just not time for you two to do that. There's nothing wrong with waiting. Sex always involves a risk for pregnancy and in my opinion the risk outweighs it all. If youre unsure, I bet that means you dont know exactly what's involved in this all. I hope he's not pressuring you but I'd just say youre not ready and if he keeps pressuring you, go your own ways. Youll find more info in health class and in more mature mags but for sound advice talk to your mom. I know, I know, awkward. But in my opinion if youre not ready to talk to your mom (and your guy!) then you're not ready for sex. Plain and simple. Stay true to you, girlie. Lots of love, Miliana

I had my most recent Bday at a restaurant and basically my closest friends and I went out and celebrated. If there's a historic part of your town or a fun mall or something, maybe a group of you could go shopping and then to dinner. But if you want a true party, then try a themed one! sorry i ask A TON of questions lol but your the best with advice! so the prob i had with the 2 guys is over now. im over one of them. so the guy i like i have known since pre-school and we were friends for a while than i switched schools so i didnt talk to him anymore. now were in the same school again and i really like him, but i dont see him much! we have one class together the ABCD day thing. and we have lunch together on B/D days but hes always with his friends! my friends say i fall too hard too fast, and every time i do that i get hurt. help?

Haha thanks for the compliment! It's ok, that's what I'm here for! Yeah, your friends may say that but it's not something you can control! So basically I would say to make sure that you like him. He's super sweet and you remember him being amazing back in the day but you've both changed. No need to go gaga over a guy who's not worth it, ya know? But if he is, then so be it. Try meeting up at afterschool activities or maybe hanging out on the weekend through mutual friends. And def talk to him in class. Try talking about what you've been up to. Sometimes it's tough to talk on command, so I get that it's weird. Or go to the movies or do something like that that doesn't require much talking. As long as youre comfortable with him, you're a-okay. Best, M
