hey girl! while flirting can be harmless, just make sure you don't lead anyone on. if none of them are asking you out, maybe realize that just like you, they like more than one person or aren't looking to be in a relationship. just keep being yourself, and if you get tired of waiting, ask out one of them. good luck!

Yeah, the novel is loosely based on Born Again. She goes on a mission trip. But that's about it. Anyway, my life has been a lot better since church camp. It feels like I have someone to talk to at all times. <3

Going along with that, I just kind of need someone to talk to about this stuff. I went to church camp earlier this summer. I didn't think it'd be that much fun, but it honestly turned out to be life-changing. Here's how I like to think of it: Before camp, I was living a fake life. I was pretending I was a Christian, just because I thought I should. Then I went to camp, and it took everything I thought before and gave in a 360-degree turn. I just wanted to apologize. I was reading the old stuff from Born Again, and I realized that I barely added anything in about God. I should've made it more about God, and I didn't. So sorry about that.

Hey, here comes the regular Grammar Nazi comment that I hate giving.
But I have to. Your grammar kind of confuses me (says the Grammar Nazi...). The big thing is your sentences (NOT TO BE MEAN ): Here is an example: "Nice outfit" Imani smiles. Should be, “Nice outfit.” Imani smiles. I don’t know if you forgot the period or what.
--“You truly have the back talk of your father." Uncle Kazi said. Should be, “You truly have the back-talk of your father,” Uncle Kazi said. Every dialogue sentence that is declarative or imperative (in simpler words, they end in period marks) should end in a comma, and then go on with a lowercase letter. So you could’ve written it like this: “You truly have the back-talk of your father,” said Uncle Kazi. And if it is an exclamatory sentence (ends in “!”) or an interrogative sentence (ends in “?”), they should not have a comma at the end of the dialogue, but still have a lowercase letter when you go on to say “she asked” or “he said”. Do you get what I’m saying? Or is this confusing? Please let me know.
Now, onto just regular sentences that have needed correcting. (Once again, these are only examples…I am NOT trying to point out every mistake that you make.)
--“Are you okay Aradia?” Should be, “Are you okay, Aradia?”
--Next, “I practically speed all the way home, it was 6:40 by the time I got out the bakery.” Should be, “I practically speed all the way home. It was 6:40 by the time I got out of the bakery.” Either that, or add in a semi-colon to replace the comma. I know that you may just be trying to combine sentences. But sometimes it just turns into a run-on. And, so far, this kind of seems to be your biggest mistake made.
--“Ok lets go then!” Should be, “Okay (or OK), let’s go then.” The word ‘let’s’ is a contraction.
So far, these are only the mistakes. Just a reminder, I’m NOT trying to act like a know-it-all. These kind of things are just an instinct when you become a serious writer. Anyways, I’d want everyone else to do the same for me.

No problem. I would join A Writers World, but I am taking part in three other stories at the moment, two of which we will probably end soon, so i am a little busy. And whenever you do create the new story on Born Again, if you would let me, i would love to be a writer again.

Haha, gotcha! It might be a day or two until you actually become an official officer, since the president hasn't been on for a few days - which is odd because she's usually on every day like a bunch of times. Yeah, this is my reply to your comment on the club, LOL. My computer has been slow so I'm trying to refrain from commenting and posting status updates so I'm not on the computer all day.

Hey, this is Haley again with just some more info on the story. First, the girls actually live in a town called Pacific Grove, California. We changed it not long ago because one of the characters was a surfer. BTW, Autumn's last name is Powell. Hmm...is there something I'm forgetting? If you're wondering what the characters are like, look at all of our applications on the club. And once you join, I think we'll be able to get started with the story. ;)
